(Halifax, NS – June 19, 2019) The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour is headed back to Scotia Speedworld for the Nova Truck Centres Make-A-Wish 150 this Saturday, June 22nd. The Nova Truck Centres 150 will mark round four of 12 for the elite stock car racing series and the second of only four visits to the oval located just outside of Halifax, NS. Grandstand gates for the Nova Truck Centres Make-A-Wish 150 open at 1:00pm with Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races slated for 4:00pm.
Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro, NS) leads the championship point standings heading into the Nova Truck Centres Make-A-Wish 150, a race he won last season. Blenkhorn has a 30 point lead over Jonathan Hicken (Brudenell, PE) and 34 points over reigning champion Cole Butcher (Hantsport, NS) who sit second and third. Jarrett Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS) sits just one point behind big brother in fourth. Chris Hughes (Brackley Beach, PE) is having a great season and enters the weekend in fifth spot on the leader board.
The Passione Flooring and Interiors East Coast Mini Stock Tour will compete in the A-Pak Drywall & Acoustical 50 lap feature prior to the Nova Truck Centres Make-A-Wish 150.
Also joining the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour on Saturday is the Atlantic Provinces Make-A- Wish Foundation and two of their Wish Kids and families. 12 year old Zac and14 year old Alex are pumped to take part in all of the race day festivities. Make-A-Wish Atlantic Provinces will also be raffling off tickets for 5,000 air miles on Saturday so be sure to visit their booth and support a fantastic cause!

Admission for Saturday’s Nova Truck Centres Make-A-Wish 150is $25.00 for adults; $8.00 for youth; pit admission is $30.00. Children 7 and under are admitted for free (Cash Only).
Friday the CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series will warm up the track with Hydraulics Plus Night. Hydraulics Plus has been a long time sponsor of Scotia’s Bandolero division, who will take centre stage on Friday night. Also on the racing card are the Toursec Thunder cars, Sportsman and Strictly Hydraulics Legends. Racing action gets underway at 7:00pm Friday evening.
Admission for Friday’s CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series is $15.00 for adults, youth (8-15) $5.00, pits $20.00. Value priced Adult weekend passes are available for $35.00, weekend pit passes $40.00.
