Hayden Norris of Gardiner, Maine will be back at Wiscasset Speedway, racing in the N.E. 4-cylinder Pro Series. Last season Hayden finished the season in 7th place. This race season the driver of the 03 is gearing up for victory. “My plans are to focus on racing and work my hardest to improve and win a few races.”
In the off season Hayden has been keeping busy doing other things other than racing. “I have been playing hockey and hanging out with friends while I can. I have had the car done for a while so haven’t had much to do.”
“The car has been fully rebuilt and ready for the first race.” The first race of the season at Wiscasset for the Pro 4’s will be April 21st.
Wiscasset Speedway is known as Maines fastest track, where things can change in the blink of an eye at full throttle. “The key to getting around the biggest track in Maine is to drive the car as hard as you can and to not pinch the corners and hit your line lap after lap.”
Last season the #03 had some great racing on the track at Wiscasset. “I would have to say Fall Fury and getting second.”
Hayden’s father Gary is well known racer in the PASS Modified Series, so is mod racing in the #03 future? “I plan on trying to get a mod for the 2019 or 2020 race season.”
Hayden would like to thank his sponsors – DKM, Rosters Flooring, Norris Motorsports, JPS Performance, Tucker’s Garage.
