MaineRacing.com along with, Mainely Motorsports TV, and Wiscasset Raceway presents the 2009 “Maine Racing Dreams”, which was started to give one special child and their family a chance to see the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH.

 

 

 

 

With 4 tickets near the start/finish line a great view of the action across the track and in the pits.

 

Wiscasset Raceway owner Doug White, has invited all the kids from the Special needs class at Rockland High School, to come watch the racing for free, parents tickets are $10 each at the track in Wiscasset, ME. on May 30th,  where they will present the recipient of 2009 “Maine Racing Dreams”. Knick Knack Racing Collectibles will also be donating a hat and T-shirt of the recipient’s favorite driver.

 

 

  

 

 

Then after the race, the entire family is invited to go on Mainely Motorsports TV with Steve Perry and talk about their experience at the race tracks.

 

 

This past Tuesday, (May 05, 2009) Wiscasset Raceway owner Doug White, and LAst Chance Racing driver Chuck Lachance, traveled to the Rockland High School and met with the kids and their teachers. After handing out racing souvenirs to the kids, Chuck and Doug then stayed on to answered all the questions from the students in the class, everything from how fast the cars go, to if they had ever crashed before.

 

   

 

Doug also invited the class to take a tour through the pits to see the action off the track to see the drivers like Chuck and his race team working on the cars prior to the cars taking the green flag.

 

 

Lee Mortenson from “Amsoil, Four Season Synthetics – Factory Connection”, also donated some hero racing cards and some racing DVD’s for the kids and their family’s to watch at home.
