Maillet makes off with $3K!

Like a thief in the night, Matt Maillet from Burton, stole the show at Speedway 660 on Saturday night. Maillet won the Martins Home Heating Sportsman 100 in front of the biggest crowd of the racing season. Dave O’Blenis, who had the dominant car, led the first three-quarters of the race before mechanical issues forced him to retire.

Events Postponed

June 20, 2013 – I regret to inform fans and drivers that due to a serious health concern in our immediate family we are forced to postpone our 2013 opening which was set for this Saturday at Shediac’s CENTRE for Speed. We have provided an updated event schedule on our website and hope to have any health issues behind us for the July 6th MetalCore Super Series date. We are making this announcement early in order to allow fans and drivers the best opportunity to make plans to attend races elsewhere this weekend. Boudreau Top Kid at Speedway 660

Chipman’s Cole Boudreau celebrated RE/MAX Group Four Realty Kids Night at Speedway 660 with a pair of trips to the Riverview Ford Lincoln Victory Lane. The defending Westwood Estate Apartments Bandolero champion won his heat and the feature.

METALCORE PICKS UP TITLE SPONSORSHIP ON MARITIME SUPER SERIES

June 14, 2013 – CFS is proud to announce that MetalCore, a locally owner and operated company specialized in supplying a variety of metals to consumers and industry, has agreed to become the title sponsor of the CENTRE for Speed’s Maritime Super Series of Stock Car Racing. MetalCore will assist us in providing up to $6000 (SIX THOUSAND) in points fund money for the 4 race series! Add to the points funds an exciting new race day format, a highly competitive points structure, a high weekly payout, and non conflicting events with most speedways and the CENTRE hopes to see strong fields and good car counts in each of the 4 events. The MetalCore Maitime Super Series is features extended lap races for Maritime based Sportsman, Street Stock and Mini Stock cars and is open to all competitors from throughout the region.
