Waterbury, VT – The American Canadian Tour (ACT) Late Model teams, along with a host of local teams throughout New England, will have another opportunity to qualify for the inaugural ACT INVITATIONAL to be held at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway as part of New England’s NASCAR September 18-20th race weekend in 2009.

WATERBURY, VT – On September 19th, 2009, the New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) will become the 23rd different track to host an American-Canadian Tour Late Model event. It will also become the largest track (1.058 mile) to ever hold an ACT event, surpassing the 7/8ths mile Sanair Super Speedway in St. Pie, PQ.

Waterbury, VT – Milton, Vermont’s veteran race driver, Brent Dragon and Hudson, New Hampshire’s young star Joey Polewarzcyk (‘Pole’) were the first to file full season entries to race for the American Canadian Tour (ACT) Championship during the 2009 thirteen race campaign. Dragon has finished either 2nd or 3rd during half the dozen years he has raced on the TOUR. Joey “Pole” has finished in the top 10 in points since joining the TOUR full time in 2005, at the age of sixteen.
