Driver to attempt ACT/NASCAR double duty weekend

LEE, NH – Stock car driver “Outlaw” Eddie MacDonald has lofty goals. The Rowley, MA driver plans to run the American-Canadian Tour Late Model Championship season opener – the prestigious New Hampshire Governor’s Cup – at his home track, Lee USA Speedway, on Sunday, April 20. Ordinarily for MacDonald, that would mean a simple 40-mile drive north across the Massachusetts/New Hampshire border.

The American-Canadian Tour stock car racing season begins in less than a month at New Hampshire’s Lee USA Speedway.  The fast 3/8-mile oval has been home to some great racers over the years, including champions Paul Richardson, Buzzie Bezanson, Scott Bonney, Ricky Wolf, Jr., and J.R. Baril.  Past and present Lee USA drivers that will be more familiar to ACT fans include Joey “Pole” Polewarczyk, A.J. Begin, Mark Anzalone, and the last ACT runner-up at Lee, Jeremy Harclerode of Newmarket, NH.

Star-Studded Entries Filing in for American-Canadian Tour

       WATERBURY, VT – Nearly thirty of the northeast’s top stock car racing teams have filed full-season entries for the 2008 American-Canadian Tour Late Model championship series.  Drivers from four U.S. states and two Canadian provinces will contest the full 12-race schedule, beginning with the New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 100 at Lee USA Speedway on Sunday, April 20.
