WATERBURY, VT – Entries for “The People’s Race” – the 23rd Annual M&M Beverage Enduro 200 auto race at Barre’s Thunder Road – are pouring into the main office in Waterbury. The Enduro, which will run on Sunday, July 29, is a 200-lap “survival” race with over 100 amateur drivers piloting virtually street-legal automobiles. Cars will line up three abreast in a standing start as the cheering fans count down to begin the race.

ST-EUSTACHE, QC – The buzz is beginning to build over the American-Canadian Tour’s first ACTion Super Series stock car race of the season at Autodrome St-Eustache near Montreal on Saturday, July 28. The 200-lap Late Model race will pay the winner a guaranteed $6,000 (US) out of the $40,000+ purse. The best short track racing teams from the US-based ACT Late Model Tour will square off against the top challengers from the Série ACT Castrol in Quebec and Ontario, with more than 45 total teams expected to attempt to qualify.

OXFORD, ME – Rain has postponed the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Time Warner Cable 100 stock car event at Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday, July 7. Nearly 50 Late Model race teams from Oxford Plains Speedway and the ACT Late Model Tour swelled the pit area before the rains came. The Time Warner Cable was to be the sixth round of the 2007 ACT Late Model Tour championship season, but has been moved to August 11.

NORTH WOODSTOCK, NH – Stock car driver Brent Dragon of Milton, VT took a hard-fought and emotional victory in the American-Canadian Tour “White Mountain 150” at White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday night. Dragon, who dedicated his victory to fallen team member Mark Arsenault, battled a host of drivers during the entire distance before nailing down the eighth ACT win of his career.
