Série ACT to Open Saturday at Circuit Riverside

ACT LogoWaterbury, VT – Following two rained out events, the 2013 Série ACT season is set to open this Saturday, June 8 at Circuit Riverside Speedway in St. Croix, QC.

Série ACT has never held a season-opening event at Circuit Riverside, but will make a third attempt at kicking off their eleven race schedule on Saturday after rainouts at Autodrome Montmagny and Autodrome St Eustache.

Thunder Road Prepares for Twilight Event

troadBarre, VT –The Nation’s Site of Excitement, Barre’s Thunder Road, will begin weekly summer racing with the first of two twilight events this Sunday, June 9th presented by WLVB Radio.

The event will feature the top-flight Late Model division, Bond Auto Tiger Sportsmen, Allen Lumber Street Stocks, and a special visit from the historic New England Antique Racers.

ACT Riverside Speedway Makeup Date Announced

ACT LogoWaterbury, VT– The rained out American Canadian Tour 150 at Groveton, NH’s Riverside Speedway scheduled for last Sunday, June 2 has been rescheduled to Sunday, June 23 with a post time of 1:30pm.

The 150-lap event was postponed due to rain with 29 laps of the feature complete last Sunday. Steuben, ME’s Rowland Robinson was in first place when the race paused after leading the first 29 laps of his ACT career. He will try to earn his first ACT win when the race resumes on Sunday, June 23.

ACT Returns to Riverside Speedway This Weekend

ACT LogoWaterbury, VT – The American Canadian Tour will return to Groveton, NH’s Riverside Speedway this Sunday, June 2nd for the Bond Auto ACT 150. It will be the first ACT race at the quarter-mile track since 2004.

With point leader Brian Hoar’s plans to run a limited schedule in 2013, the door has swung wide open this weekend at Riverside for ACT’s top talents. Sophomore driver Jimmy Hebert has come out of the gate on fire, sitting second in the overall points coming into his first Late Model appearance at Riverside Speedway. Reigning Series Champion Wayne Helliwell, Jr., who won the first Clash of the Titans 150 held at the speedway in 2009, will attempt to erase the 15-point deficit between himself and the upstart Hebert.
