Eric Holmes Gets First Top Ten of 2007 With Eighth At South Boston
South Boston, Va. (June 2, 2007) – Eric Holmes, the 2006 NASCAR West Series champion, got his best finish in Busch East Series competition on Saturday night when he brought NDS Motorsports' No. 35 Waste Management Recycle America Ford home in eighth place at the .4-mile South Boston Speedway in South Boston, Virginia.

Matt Kobyluck Slings Monkey Off His Back Wins South Boston 150
South Boston, VA (June 4, 2007): Matt Kobyluck has been rather laid back when talking about the misfortunes that have plagued the Mohegan Sun Casino race team since the season began, but excitement was all you got out of him following Saturday night’s Busch East Series win at South Boston Speedway. Kobyluck outraced Peyton Sellers for the checkered flag at the 4/10th’s mile oval, and collected his first win and first top-five since the 2006 Toyota All-Star Showdown.

Dion Ciccarelli Overcomes Late-Race Spin to Finish South Boston Seventeenth
South Boston, Va. (June 2, 2007) – Dion Ciccarelli was having a good NASCAR Grand National Division, Busch East Series race at South Boston (Va.) Speedway on Saturday night, running in the top fifteen with just a handful of laps to go when he was turned around by another competitor and sent to the rear of the field. With only four laps to make up that ground, he worked his way up to finish seventeenth in the fourth series race of the year.

CONCORD, NC (May 14, 2007) – In racing, the chase for a championship isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon. Nobody knows that better than four-time Busch North (now Busch East) Champion Andy Santerre. And that is exactly what he and the Andy Santerre Motorsports team have on their minds going into the Busch East double-header event, which will begin at Elko Speedway (MN) on Friday May 18th and continue at Iowa Speedway (IA) on Sunday May 20th. Both of which happen to be new tracks for the Busch East series.

Greensville, SC (April 29, 2007): Defending Busch East Series, Grand National Division champion Mike Olsen turned around a 16th place qualifying effort with a seventh place finish in the season opening Greased Lightning 150 at Greenville-Pickens Speedway Saturday night. The finish was Olsen’s 13th straight top-10 finish – a streak that began in 2005.

Greenville, SC (April 29, 2007): Matt Kobyluck proved that the Mohegan Sun Casino Chevrolet would be a force to reckon with in the Busch East Series, Grand National Division season opener after qualifying fourth fastest, and being a solid contender in the top-three for the first 25 laps. But things took a dramatic turn quickly for the Uncasville, CT-driver when he got collected in a tangle between two lapped cars. Kobyluck and his crew were persistent in their efforts to turn the day around, but a flat tire with eight laps to go sent him to the pits and relegated him to a 21st place finish.
