The Ground-Pounding Stars and Cars of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour are set to invade White Mountain Motorsports Park this Saturday, June 20 for the 2nd annual Thunder in the Mountains 200. Tight championship standings are the story leading into this one with White Mountain proving to be one of the most unpredictable tracks on the NASCAR calendar.

Two time winner Stephen Kopcik leads the NASCAR standings ahead of winless defending champion Austin Beers and fellow two-time winner Jon McKennedy. This will be the fourth visit for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour at White Mountain with Doug Coby looking to take his second Modified victory at the highbanked North Woodstock oval. ‘Big Money’ Matt Hirschman is looking to make a statement Saturday with a win to help climb the standings while the two-groove facility could also lean into rookies like Paulie Hartwig Jr. and veterans like McKennedy, Ronnie Williams, Patrick Emerling and Eric Goodale alike!
