Reed, Hopkins Take PASS Commonwealth Classic Wins At Richmond

RICHMOND, VA (March 30) – Austin Reed and Mike Hopkins split Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model wins in the Inaugural PASS Commonwealth Classic Saturday afternoon at Richmond Raceway.
“The crew made some awesome adjustments at the halfway break and then the car was on rails,” said Reed after the biggest win of his career. “To win at Richmond is just amazing. I can’t believe we won yet, but I can’t wait for it to sink in.”

Eddie MacDonald wins ACT 150-lapper, Spencer Morse outruns PASS Mod foes on night before the 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway
Oxford, Maine – Eddie MacDonald of Rowley, Massachusetts, known as ‘The Outlaw’ in Late Model racing circles, added to his impressive resume in that class at Oxford Plains Speedway Saturday night with a win in the headlining American-Canadian Tour 150-lapper at the historic Route 26 oval racetrack in Oxford, Maine.
MacDonald, twice a winner of the prestigious Oxford 250 during its’ brief period as a Late Model race, will try for his third triumph in Maine’s Greatest Racing Classic on Sunday afternoon in his Super Late Model ride. On Saturday he took the race lead away from young Vermonter Evan Hallstrom, then outraced ACT championship contender Jimmy Hebert of Williamstown, Vermont to the checkered flag. (more…)

Three Different Winners in Four Events Starts Out the 2018 Season
The smallest racecars that will make up the second annual New England Short Track Showdown at New Hampshire Motor Speedway are riding a king-sized wave of momentum into this coming weekend’s event. So far in 2018, the North East Mini Stock Tour is seeing a season where there have been three different winners in the first four events and a total of 41 competitors who have entered a race this season. Barre, Vt. – Thunder Road officials announced today that both the Pro All Star Series (PASS) Super Late Models and the North East Mini Stock Tour (NEMST) have been added to the 56th Vermont Milk Bowl Weekend presented by Northfield Savings Bank in 2018. The two series will be part of a special “Milk Bowl Friday” event to be held on Friday, September 28.
It will be the second PASS North visit of the 2018 season to the Barre high banks, joining the Memorial Day Classic event that has been on the PASS calendar since 2015. For NEMST, they will make the trip to Thunder Road for the second time in their history and the first since 2013.
