CHARLOTTE, NC (October 26) – Big race season is upon short track racing’s best as Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model racers prepare for two huge race weekends during the month of November in North Carolina. The 15th Annual North-South Shootout will be up first at the tough, triangular Concord Speedway on Saturday afternoon, November 4. And then, that will be followed by the most anticipated, revamped event in the country, the 12th Annual Mason-Dixon MegaMeltdown 300 at Hickory Motor Speedway. WATERFORD, Conn. – Joe Squeglia used a late pass of Angelo Belsito to capture his third Granite State Pro Stock Series victory of the season on Saturday night at New London-Waterford Speedbowl.
In the 25-car field that was filled with talent, Squeglia had to start ninth in the 100-lap main event, but it didn’t take him long to work his way up through the pack. Winning the final race of the season is always the sweetest and Eddie MacDonald did just that with a dominant performance in the American Canadian Tour’s 75 lap feature at Thompson Motor Sports Park Sunoco World Series of Racing Saturday night. The victory was especially sweet after a disappointing 11th place finish in the Pro Stock feature on Friday night.
Saturday’s ACT Late Model practice was reduced to one half hour due to morning rain but the EXIT Realty/Hancock Electric Chevy ran in the top three and posted a +3 rating in the heat. Eddie Mac started fifth then raced to a second place finish to receive the fifth starting position for the season finale on the fast, high-banked 5/8th of a mile oval.

Oxford, ME — Curtis Gerry of Waterboro nailed down his second PASS Super Late Model win this season at Oxford Plains Speedway Saturday afternoon, while his closest on-track rival, Travis Benjamin of Belfast, riding a runner-up finish to nail down his second career PASS North championship.
Gerry, who added his name to the lists of Legends by winning the 44th Annual Oxford 250 back in August, had the best season of his career hot on the heels of what was previously his best year ever in 2016.
The Saco House of Pizza 7 and Gerry methodically cruised into contention from 12th starting position as Ben Rowe, Tracy Gordon, Dave Farrington and Joey Doiron took turns setting the race pace, with Brandon Barker also a notable early factor.
