CHARLOTTE, NC (March 21) – Over the last five seasons the South Carolina
Clash has carved quite a niche on the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Model schedule. Dillon (SC) Motor Speedway will host the popular event on Saturday March 26 and The Clash promises to pack all the drama race fans can handle into 150 fast paced green flag laps.
It seems every South Carolina Clash contested so far has had its own unique identity, especially those hosted by Dillon Motor Speedway. Justin Wakefield took the win in 2008 in temperatures in excess of 100 degrees. In 2009 Maine’s Ben Rowe bested Wakefield to become the first and only Northern driver to win the South Carolina Clash. In 2010 Ryan Blaney totally dominated Dillon Motor Speedway to earn his first career PASS South win. (more…)

Canaan, NH — As he did back in 2003 when he threw his support at the new Modified Racing Series, Monadnock Speedway promotor Larry Cirillo has agreed to two race dates for the new Granite State Pro-Stock Series.
Series director John Hoyt has announced a meeting was held this past week opening the door for a visit to the Winchester, NH., speedway for two dates and possibly a third.

they embark on the historic Waterford, CT, Speedbowl, Saturday and Sunday,

Racers and race fans from coast to coast are making their preparations to converge on Wilkes County North Carolina for THE RACE at historic North Wilkesboro, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South super late model mega race that will light up the night at the fabled speedway for the first time.

The Grimm Racing Team and three students from the University of Northwestern Ohio met at the legendary Greenville Pickens Speedway in South Carolina for a day of testing Eddie MacDonald’s car for the K&N Pro Series East season opener at the track on March 26. The scheduled one testing day turned into two when weather forced the team’s return to the half mile oval on Friday March 10.
After an eight hour ride from the University’s campus in Lima, Ohio, Cody Bland from Bloomington, Indiana, Kody Weisner from Muskegon, Michigan, and Kevin Hollenbach from Hillsborough, New Jersey met the Grimm team in Greenville. Last year two of the students worked with the team during the UNOH sponsored event for the K&N series and the Whelen Modifieds at Martinsville.

Waterbury, VT – American Canadian Tour (ACT) officials announced today the 2011 Série Castrol Edge season opener on Saturday, May 21 has been changed from Autodrome St-Eustache in St-Eustache, Quebec, to the 1/3 mile Autodrome Chaudière in Vallée-Jonction, Quebec. The 100 lap St-Eustache event has been moved to Saturday, June 4.
The two speedways agreed to switch their opening Série Castrol Edge dates last week. It will be the first time since 2007 that the Série Castrol Edge season opener will not be held at the fast ½ mile of Autodrome St-Eustache. Autodrome Chaudière will hold the opener for the first time in Série Castrol Edge history as part of their 20th season celebration. Both tracks have three ACT events scheduled for the 2011 season including the Showdown at Chaudière all-star event in September. (more…)
