(Halifax, NS –August 6, 2019) The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour and Scotia Speedworld have three days of action packed excitement lined up as part of the Toromont Cat 250 weekend! Fans have lots to look forward including a Food Truck Rally and Show & Shine on Thursday which will feature a Meet & Greet with some of the stars of the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. Friday night the Sportsman will battle for 100 laps and of course it all culminates with the 20th running of the Toromont Cat 250 on Saturday.
Helliwell Takes Advantage of Late Tangle to Win Midsummer 250
Waterbury, VT – Dover, NH’s Wayne Helliwell Jr. was in the right place at the right time to score the victory and the $10,000 top prize in the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Midsummer 250 at N. Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park (WMMP) on Saturday, August 3. Helliwell took the lead with four laps remaining after Jimmy Hebert and Scott Payea tangled on a restart, then held off a last-lap bid by Graniteville, VT’s Stephen Donahue for the win.

While the August 3 event is part of the ACT Late Model Tour schedule, it has drawn entries and interest from weekly Late Model racers around the region aiming for the giant check awaiting the winner.

NAPLES, ME (July 26) – For the only time in 2019, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models and PASS Modifieds will have their lone mid-week show of the year this coming Tuesday night at Star Speedway in Epping, NH. The special 200-lapper will be the penultimate race of the “Road To The Oxford 250” program which offers top finishers a guaranteed spot for the biggest Super Late Model race in the country coming up at Oxford Plains in late August.
