The Bullring Bash Quarter Mile Challenge presented by RaceChoice is thrilled to put the spotlight on both the Modified and Legends divisions when they take to the track this coming Sunday for their opener at White Mountain Motorsports Park.
One driver who will be behind the wheel in the Legends division is Michael Blaskey, a native of Bethany, Connecticut. He’ll be driving his No. 34 Pleasant View Garage Chevy.
COLE BUTCHER WINS CEILIDH HONDA TRIPLE 50’s AT RIVERSIDE INTERNATIONAL
(Antigonish, NS – June 08, 2019) – Cole Butcher (Hantsport, NS) picked up his first career Riverside victory tonight at the Ceilidh Honda Triple 50’s. The unique triple 50 format provided a thrilling race for drivers and fans alike. Greg Proude (Springvale, PE) paced the field for the first 50 laps prior to the Riverside roulette wheel being spun which resulted in an inversion of the top five cars, placing Nicholas Naugle (Dartmouth, NS) on the pole for the second 50 laps. Naugle proceeded to lead laps 51 – 100 when the Riverside roulette wheel inverted the top 10 cars placing Cole Butcher in front of the field for the final 50 laps and he never looked back. Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro, NS) finished second with Dylan Gosbee (Cornwall, PE) completing the podium. Proude and Jonathan Hicken (Brudenell, PE) rounded out the top five.
Eddie MacDonald drove from his 17th place starting position in the Pro All Star Series 150 lap Super Late Model event at Oxford Plains Speedway on Sunday afternoon to post an encouraging eighth place finish. In only the second race of the season at OPS, the team is dialing in the new Freddie Peterson owned Camaro and the Rowley, Mass. driver is pleased with the progress.
ACT to Headline at Thompson Following NASCAR Cancellation
Waterbury, VT – The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) will now have top billing when the series rolls into Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway on Saturday, June 15. NASCAR and Thompson officials announced on Tuesday that the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East 100 scheduled for that day has been cancelled and will not be replaced on the program.
Vallée-Jct., QC – Plainfield, NH’s Rich Dubeau finally broke into American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Victory Lane Saturday, June 1 by taking the Claude Leclerc 150 at Vallée-Jct., QC’s Autodrome Chaudiere. Dubeau took the lead for the first time on lap 82 and dominated the second half of a rough-and-tumble event to capture the Summer Kickoff Series opener and the $5,000 top prize.
(Halifax, NS – June 1 2019) – Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro, NS) picked up his first victory of the season at the Cummins 150 this evening. Blenkhorn had to hold off Jarrett Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS) and Jonathan Hicken (Brudenell, PE) who crossed the line in a photo finish. Hicken had to settle for third with Butcher crossing the line just 0.003 seconds ahead, picking up his first career Series podium finish. Kent Vincent (Crapaud, PE) and Shawn Turple (Enfield, NS) rounded out the top five. The race was slowed by seven caution periods and took 70 minutes to complete.
