PASS to Tackle High Banks Again at Memorial Day Classic
Barre, VT – The Thunder returns to Barre on Sunday, May 27 at 1:30pm as Thunder Road wraps up the month of May with the 56th Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic. With the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models joining the hometown Thunder Road favorites as part of a 5-division card, a big holiday afternoon of racing is in store as the 59th season of competition kicks into high gear.

Dave Etheridge Strong Contender For Stafford VMRS 80
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway will host the Valenti Modified Racing Series for the first of two races in 2018 Friday, May 18, and perhaps no driver is more excited for the race than Portland, CT native Dave Etheridge. The driver of the #34 Warner Turf Equipment / Belltown Motors Chevrolet is looking for his first top-10 finish of the 2018 season after finishes of 13th at Thompson and 19th at Waterford. Stafford has been a good track for Etheridge over the past two seasons with top-4 finishes in four of out of the last five VMRS races held at Stafford in 2016-2017.

Eddie MacDonald Battles for Tenth Place Finish at Thunder Road
Eddie MacDonald battled his racecar and a caution filled race to post a determined tenth place finish in the ACT opener at Barre, Vermont’s Thunder Road on Sunday, May 6. After a two week delay, the 33rd year for the American Canadian Tour took the green flag in the 20th Community Bank 150 only to wait out a two hour rain delay after completing only two laps of the 150 lap feature.

Big Month Of May For PASS Continues At Oxford, Concord, & Thunder Road
NAPLES, ME (May 8) – For racers and fans across the United States, the month of May is huge. And it’s no different for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS), which will feature the best in Super Late Model racing throughout the remainder of the month.
Following a hard fought and exciting race this past Saturday night at Star Speedway for the PASS North Super Late Models which saw Travis Benjamin take the win over Reid Lanpher, the series regulars will get a much deserved weekend off. But, PASS North will return to action on Sunday, May 20 for their second visit of the season to Oxford Plains Speedway for the Honey Badger Bar & Grill 150. Waterboro, ME’s Curtis Gerry will look to continue his dominance of the legendary oval as his competitors look for the key to winning as they prep for August’s $25,000 to win Oxford 250.

ACT Set to Tackle Tricky Lee Oval at New Hampshire Governor’s Cup
Waterbury, VT – After finally kicking off the 2018 season this past Sunday, the American-Canadian Tour will be right back in action just six days later. The New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150 at Lee USA Speedway this Saturday, May 12 will continue a busy early-season stretch for ACT teams created by multiple postponements. As such, their mettle will be tested as they set up their summer-long charge for the ACT Late Model Tour championship.
