ACT ANNOUNCES JULY 10 AIRBORNE RAINED OUT SPRING GREEN DATE

Waterbury, VT – Officials from the American Canadian Tour (ACT) and Airborne Speedway announced today that the makeup date for the highly- anticipated Tour date will be Saturday, July 10, 2010. The Furniture World of Vermont Spring Green was scheduled to be run on May 8, but became the third rain-out on the early ACT schedule.

White Mountain Motorsports Park Race Preview

4-time PASS North Series champion Johnny Clark of Farmingdale, Maine, looks to bounce back in the PASS 150 at White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, N.H., on Saturday, May 22. Clark, who is attempting to become the first driver to win three straight PASS titles, finished 6th in the season-opener at Beech Ridge. He’s never won at the high-banked quarter-mile White Mountain track despite finishing second there on numerous occasions — making it just one of two tracks on the schedule where he’s never won a Super Late Model race. Last season, Clark locked up the 2009 PASS North championship with a 5th-place finish at White Mountain.

PASS South: Wakefield’s a Winner at Wake County

Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South super late model regular Justin Wakefield survived a wild finish to capture Friday nights’ Capitol City Clash 150 at Raleigh North Carolina’s Wake County Speedway. Wakefield took the lead away from Ryan Lawler with just two laps to go. Lawler hung tough in second, with series point leader Preston Peltier third. Home track hero Alex Fleming raced home fourth and Heath Hindman completed the top five.

PASS South will rumble in Raleigh Friday

NAPLES ME (5/4/2010) The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South super late models roll into Wake County Speedway Friday evening May 7th for the Capitol City Clash, and the tough little speedway will test even the most talented veterans in the field.

Most of the paved ovals throughout the southeast are either side of the half mile mark in length, but Wake County is just under a quarter mile and the PASS super late models tour the track in under thirteen seconds. The action is fast and furious; a good spotter is a big plus and it takes a large dose of patience and a little luck to make it to the checkered flag.

Staples masters PASS Mods, Martin snares PASS Sportsman win at the Ridge

Chris Staples has seen success in nearly every Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North division; he’s a two time Mod champ, he’s raced up front in the now dormant Outlaw division, and he has a Beech Ridge super late model win to his credit.

 

Saturday Staples returned to Beech Ridge one year after his first super late model victory, but this time he was back behind the wheel of his PASS Mod. After a year’s hiatus from the PASS Mod ranks, Staples returned to victory lane in the open wheel series lid lifter at the Scarborough Maine speed plant. Staples now has twelve wins in the fast, fun and affordable series.
