Mitch Cobb has a little bit longer commute to work than most of us. He has gotten use to the nearly 2,000-mile journey he takes during the race season from the small western Colorado town where he resides to all of his planned events for 2008. Usually stopping in airports such as Denver or Dallas before arriving into Atlanta or Pensacola. This weekends Pro All Star Series race in Cordele, Georgia will be no different. A Thursday flight into Atlanta will start the weekend as Mitch and his crew at Bill Elliott Racing will put the finishing touches on the car Friday before it is loaded and sent down I-75 to the Watermelon Capital Speedway for the PASS race on April 26th. It will be Mitch’s first race at Cordele and the second time Mitch has competed with PASS this year.

Scarborough ME ( April 19th 2008) Mike Rowe, Ben Rowe and Travis Benjamin staged a short track battle royal in the Pro All Stars (PASS) North super late model opener at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, and when the dust settled Mike Rowe was in victory lane by one-one hundredth of a second . Ben Rowe came up inches short for second with Benjamin half a car length back in third. PASS Sophomore Adam Bates scored a career best fourth place finish and Beech Ridge master Bub Bilodeau rounded out the top five.

CHARLOTTE, NC (April 18 2008) – NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver David Ragan headlines a star studded field of Super Late Model drivers heading to the Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, GA for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South’s first visit to the speedway. The April 26th race at Watermelon Capital marks a homecoming for Ragan who grew up in nearby Unadilla, GA. Ragan will race in the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Talladega, AL early in the day, fly to Cordele for the Watermelon 125 and then it’s back to Talladega for Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event.

The Las Vegas, Nevada native will be behind the wheel of the Kyle Busch Foundation Toyota Camry for team owner Kyle Busch.

(Apr. 13th, 2008) The PASS Modified Series Champion Chris Staples, announces the newest members of Staples Motorsports, Chris Staples Jr. and Owen Poisson will be competing in the 2008 Kart Racing Series Friday nights starting May 2nd at the Oxford Plains Speedway. Chris Jr. and Owen will be competing every week and are seeking race sponsors, for the season.
