Big Weekend In Store For New England Race Fans At Oxford Plains
NAPLES, ME (April 17) – For Maine race fans the wait is finally over as short track racing returns this weekend to Oxford Plains Speedway. Following a weekend off due to bad weather, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models will make their first stop of the season in Maine on Sunday for the Honey Badger Bar & Grill 150. And if that’s not enough, a full slate of weekly racing at Oxford Plains Speedway will kick off on Saturday afternoon at 4 PM, featuring the Super Late Models

Derek Griffith is PASS ace at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park
Second straight PASS National Championship Series win for Hudson, New Hampshire driver
Thompson, Connecticut – Derek Griffith of Hudson, New Hampshire nailed down his first Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park victory in impressive fashion, outrunning two-time PASS North Super Late Model Champion DJ Shaw to the checkered flag in the Icebreaker 100 Sunday afternoon.
Griffith, who had been a runner-up in Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park Super Late Model competition in the past, started from fifth position. Aboard his LCM Motorsports ride, Griffith battled Saturday heat race winners and early frontrunners Shaw and Reid Lanpher of Manchester, Maine before grabbing the race lead, which he would not relinquish.

PASS North Set To Begin Sunday At Thompson’s Icebreaker
NAPLES, ME (April 5) – After a long winter break, that has seen some venture south to compete, Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Model drivers from across New England and Canada are ready to tackle Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park this weekend for the first race of 2018.
In addition to being the first action of the season for New England’s top short trackers, the 44th Annual Icebreaker also serves as the second race of the PASS National Championship Series. Following the first event held at South Carolina’s Dillon Motor Speedway in February, race winner, Derek Griffith, finds himself leading 5-Time PASS National Champion, Ben Rowe, by just two points heading to Thompson.

Preston Peltier Powers To 5th Easter Bunny 150 Victory At Hickory
HICKORY, NC (March 31) – Preston Peltier survived a second half duel with local favorite Shane Lee to claim the victory in the 13th Annual Easter Bunny 150Presented By MyComputerCareer Saturday night at Hickory Motor Speedway. New England’s Best Racers Ready To Duel With South Counterparts At Easter Bunny 150
CHARLOTTE, NC (March 23) – While short track racing appears to be on the verge of a renaissance, one very bright spot over the last decade has been the immergence of the Easter Bunny 150 at Hickory Motor Speedway. As it has since 2006, the Easter Bunny 150 Presented By MyComputerCareer will pit some of the best Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models racers from across North America against one another at one of the most legendary short tracks in the country. With 26 cars already entered, this year’s race has added importance as the top five finishers at Hickory will each receive guaranteed starting positions for either the 45th Annual Oxford 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway in August or the inaugural Commonwealth Classic at Richmond Raceway in October. Matt Craig Powers To 3rd Straight PASS South Win At Caraway
SOPHIA, NC (March 18) – Matt Craig led flag-to-flag Sunday afternoon to score his third straight Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Model win at Caraway Speedway in the RGS Products 125. Craig’s win moves him to fourth on the all-time PASS South winners’ list, just one win behind Jay Fogleman.
In qualifying, Tate Fogleman bested Brandon Setzer for his second quick qualifying time of the season with a lap of 16.473 seconds (99.435 MPH). But, the top 10 qualifiers redraw would not be kind to Fogleman, moving him back to the ninth starting position, while fellow championship contenders, Craig and Kodie Conner, would move to the front row for the start.
