MIDLAND, NC (May 27) – Ryan Moore took advantage of a late race restart over Trevor Sanborn and led the rest of the way to win Friday night’s Old Glory 125 at Concord Speedway for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Models. Moore’s victory was his first since taking the checkered flag at Caraway Speedway nearly two years ago.
“I just tried to run a smart race, these things always some to come down to a couple of restarts at the end and I knew that, so I tried to play it smart and it worked out,” said Moore, driver of the RC Moore Transportation #74. “At Caraway we had a bad race and honestly I was kind of dejected and had enough of it, but my dad, he never gives up and we stuck with it and I guess it’s for times like these.”
In qualifying, Trevor Noles claimed the Precision Built Spindles Pole Award with a lap of 113.314 mile per hour around the fast half-mile. Noles would start on the outside pole position after the top 10 qualifiers redraw, while defending PASS South Super Late Model champion, Tate Fogleman, would move to the pole.

NAPLES, ME (May 25) – After a thrilling debut last year, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models are set to return to Vermont’s Thunder Road International Speedbowl this Sunday afternoon at 1:30 PM. In addition to 150 laps for New England’s fastest racers, the 54th Annual Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic will feature 100 laps for Thunder Road’s ACT Late Models, plus the PASS Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Tigers.

CHARLOTTE, NC (May 23) – Following an extremely successful debut at Hickory’s Easter Bunny weekend in March, southeast race fans will get a treat this Friday night at Concord Speedway when the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Models and Southern Modified Racing Series (SMRS) compete together in a rare doubleheader. The Memorial Day weekend kickoff will see the two most powerful asphalt series in the South compete together for only the second time ever on Friday night at Concord Speedway, along with the Mid-Atlantic Limited Late Models and Mid-Atlantic Street Stocks.
The South’s top Super Late Model tour will be led to Friday night’s Old Glory 125 by Kannapolis, NC teenagers, Kodie Conner and Matt Craig. Conner leads the PASS South Super Late Model points in his rookie season, after claiming the PASS Pro Late Model championship in 2015. Conner began his racing career across the street from the Concord Speedway half-mile on the quarter-mile track, racing Quarter Midgets and Bandoleros. He took the checkered flag in the Pro Late Model division last year at Concord and hopes that will translate into his first PASS South victory on Friday night.

Waterbury, VT – The 54th running of the Mekkelsen Memorial Day Classic at Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, VT (TR) on Sunday, May 29, 2016 will once again feature a double-header with the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) and the American Canadian Tour (ACT) Late Models of Thunder Road.
The inaugural race a year ago saw former ACT competitor Joey Doiron from Berwick, Maine tackle the high banks of Thunder Road for a dominant win over a cast of all-star Super Late Model Champion racers, including Mike and Ben Rowe, Johnny Clark, Travis Benjamin and DJ Shaw. This year they will be joined in the 150 lap showdown by Middlebury, Vermont’s Todd Stone, Oxford 250 winner Glen Luce, and Derek Ranstrom from Worcester, MA.
“Thunder Road can be intimidating, but everyone had a great time last year and we are looking forward to a return trip over the Memorial Day weekend. I am especially excited to see our PASS Modifieds hit those high banks at TR. They should be fun to watch and any time you visit a new track it is good for fans and racers,” said the President of PASS, Tom Mayberry.

Scarborough, Maine racer first repeat victor this year
Hermon, Maine – Garrett Hall of Scarborough charged into contention from his sixth row starting position, battling his way to victory lane Sunday in a rain-plagued 150-lap Pro All Stars Series Super Late Model race that went the scheduled distance at Speedway 95 in Hermon.
Hall, who said he was told the track “was flat and bumpy” had never seen the track prior to Sunday’s event. After several rain delays interrupted practice sessions and qualifying races, weather continued to threaten, so Hall – starting back in the field as a previous 2016 race winner on the series, wasted little time making his way through the field on the tight track.

NAPLES, ME (May 11) – After a rain out last weekend at Star Speedway, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models and PASS Modifieds will be back on track this Sunday afternoon at Maine’s Speedway 95. New England’s top short track stars will help kickoff the 50th Anniversary season of racing at the track in Hermon dubbed as “Maine’s Family Fun Track.”
Through the first three PASS North races of the 2016 season, there have been three different winners. Beech Ridge winner DJ Shaw currently leads the standings by four points over Oxford winner Ben Rowe and is just 13 markers ahead of Thompson winner Garrett Hall.
Speedway 95 favorite, Mike Hopkins, who also hails from Hermon, sits fourth in the standings just 23 points behind Shaw. Hopkins has had a fast start to the year with two top 10s to begin the PASS North campaign and a runner-up finish in the PASS National Championship opener at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in South Carolina. Hopkins feels he and his team are primed for their first PASS North Super Late Model victory this Sunday afternoon at Speedway 95.
