PASS & ACT ANNOUNCE 2020 NORTHEAST CLASSIC SCHEDULE

Naples, & ME Waterbury, VT – Officials for the Pro All Star Series (PASS) and the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) have announced the event schedule for the inaugural 2020 Northeast Classic slated for Friday and Saturday, April 17 and 18.  The two premier full fendered series’ in the Northeast are partnering up on New England’s biggest stage for what is hoped to be a yearly event.

“What bigger way to open our 2020 Northeast racing season than on the biggest stage in the region,” said Pass president Tom Mayberry.  “We’re glad to be working with ACT and NHMS on this event and aim to make it a new annual tradition for racers from Connecticut to Quebec.”  The Northeast Classic will also feature open races for the powerful Tour-type Modifieds, the always popular Street Stock class, as well as the newly added New England Mini-Stock Tour (NEMST) making its 7th appearance at the “Magic Mile”.

Bennett, Felton to Run Modified Open at NHMS Northeast Classic

Waterbury, VT – Two of the most reputable names in Northeast Modified racing will be part of the operations team for the inaugural Northeast Classic. American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials have announced that Ed Bennett and Greg Felton will oversee the Modified Open at Loudon’s New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18. 

Bennett and Felton have been part of the regional Modified racing scene for decades. Each currently holds a major role with the Tri-Track Open Modified Series (TTOMS). Bennett joined the series in January 2019 as a managing partner in charge of race day operations. He is also a longtime Modified car owner who has fielded rides for drivers such as Matt Hirschman, Jimmy Blewett, Chuck Hossfield, and Erick Rudolph.

Waterbury, VT & Naples, ME – Loudon, NH’s New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) will be the launching pad for the 2020 Northeast Late Model racing season. BRASELTON, GA (November 16) – Ben Ashline made the long trip from Pittston, ME count taking the surprise win for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models Saturday afternoon in the Lanier National 200 at Lanier Raceplex. Ashline’s first career PASS victory was the first checkered flag that has flown at Lanier since racing was last held here in 2011.

Drivers Ready To Make New Memories At Lanier This Weekend

NAPLES, ME (November 13) – Ever since the return of stock car racing to Lanier Raceplex was announced earlier this year, fans and drivers alike have brought up memories of great races of the past at the speedway that opened in 1982. On Saturday afternoon, new memories will be made when the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) National Super Late Model Championship will be decided in the Lanier National 200.  While the championship will conclude a season that began at Richmond Raceway in March, the Lanier National 200 will pay $6,000 to the race winner, and an eye-popping $1,000 just to start.  Joining the PASS Super Late Models at Lanier, will be three divisions of Legends cars and the Bandoleros.  The Legends Pro/Masters will race for $500 to win, Semi-Pros will compete for $400 to win, and the Young Lions will race for $300 to win.
