Garrett Hall holds off rookie Gabe Brown for Oxford Plains Speedway Super Late Model win
Oxford, Maine – Garrett Hall of Scarborough prevailed in a thrilling, 50-lap main event topping the stock car racing program Saturday night at Oxford Plains Speedway, becoming the 12th different driver to score a victory in the ultra-competitive Super Late Model division this season in Budweiser Championship Series competition.
Hall led just about the entire race, but it was no easy romp to victory lane, and the winner had to turn back several stout challenges from rookie Gabe Brown of Center Conway, New Hampshire to earn the top step on the podium. Brown, who will turn 15-years-old next month, got alongside Hall several times and finished the race in second position in just his third stock car race after posting an impressive record in kart racing.

Oxford, Maine – Alan Tardiff of Lyman extended his lead atop the Budweiser Championship Series Super Late Model standings, posting his second 50-lap victory of the season in the top class at Oxford Plains Speedway on Sunday.
Tardiff started 11th and worked quickly through the field to take the race lead away from Dixfield’s Scott Robbins. After taking control of the race, Tardiff maintained a healthy advantage over Manchester’s Reid Lanpher, who earned runner-up honors after starting the race from 15th position.

Oxford, Maine – Buckfield’s TJ Brackett nailed down his second Budweiser Championship Series Super Late Model win of the season in Saturday night’s 50-lap Super Late Model race at Oxford Plains Speedway.
Brackett, a two-time champion of the top class at OPS, battled hard for the victory against Auburn’s Travis Stearns, in Stearns best run since moving into the Super Late Model division after a very successful run in Late Models.

Oxford Plains Speedway score is second straight PASS North Super Late Model victory for Travis Benjamin
Oxford, Maine – Travis Benjamin nailed down his second consecutive Pro All Stars Series North Super Late Model victory Sunday night at Oxford Plains Speedway.
Benjamin, in the Petit Motorsports 7, needed most of the race distance to mount a challenge to Cassius Clark of Farmington, who dominated most of the race driving the Nova Scotia-based King Racing entry. Benjamin moved alongside Clark for a late-race restart and was able to prevail from the outside groove.

Defending track champion Tim Brackett wins for first time this season at Oxford Plains Speedway
Oxford, Maine – Timmy Brackett of Buckfield raced to his first Budweiser Championship Series Super Late Model victory of the season in Saturday’s Irving Forest Products 50 at Oxford Plains Speedway.
Brackett, the four-time and reigning track champion in the top class at Oxford Plains Speedway, had struggled in his role as defending champion until very recently. A good starting spot and winless 2017 campaign had earned him a pole starting position Saturday night, and he led every lap to post his first win of the season.
