ZACH AUDET SCORES MODIFIED ENDURO WIN AT SPEEDWAY 95
Zach Audet of Skowhegan parked his RoadRunner car for the night and brought his Modified Enduro car to the speedway and fought off a hard charge from Hermon’s Andrew Crosby to pick up his first win of the season in the division. Audet started 7th in the field and took over the top spot on lap 3, but had to work all race long to keep Crosby behind him. Crosby finished a close second with Dustin Lancaster of Milo finishing third, about 5 car lengths behind the leaders. Pole sitter Alex Runci of Frankfort finished fourth with Scott Bonney of Stetson rounding out the top five.

Waterbury, VT – The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) resumes its 2015 championship chase this Saturday, July 25 at Oxford, ME’s Oxford Plains Speedway. The Oxford Plains 150 is the eighth on the ACT Tour’s 13-race schedule and their second visit of the season to the 3/8-mile oval. The event was previously scheduled for June 27 before being postponed.
The second half of the year will see the continued championship battle between New Hampshire veterans Wayne Helliwell Jr. and Joey Polewarczyk Jr. Two-time ACT Tour Champion Wayne Helliwell Jr. holds a 17-point lead over defending Champion “Joey Pole” with each driver recording three wins to date.

There were some new faces in Victory Lane this Saturday at Wiscasset Speedway. Fans gathered, despite the cool weather, and were treated to some exciting racing action, with appearances on the podium from several racers who had not been there in quite some time. On the agenda were the Group Two division of racing, including Late Model Sportsman, Outlaw Mini, Modified, and Strictly Street. The flex race of the week was a one-hundred lap Enduro feature.
Starting off the night was the spotlighted Late Model Sportsman class in a forty-five lap event. On the pole was the #33 of Josh St Clair. To his right was Bryan Robbins of the #5X. In third was Steve Minott in the #28. (more…)
GERMAIN VICTORY ENDS LIZOTTE FIGURE 8 STREAK
Oxford, ME – Josh Knoll of Mechanic Falls claimed victory in the 25-lap Enduro race, highlighting the special Allen’s Coffee Flavored Brandy Motor Mayhem racing card Saturday night at Oxford Plains Speedway.
Knoll raced with the leaders throughout the event and crossed under the checkered flag with an apparent third-place finish, but both drivers finishing ahead of him ran afoul of technical inspectors after the race to hand him the victory.

Last Saturday was fan appreciation night at Wiscasset Speedway. Drivers gathered on the track and fans were able to go down onto the track and meet them, get autographs, and view the race cars up close. The weather was warm and sunny, perfect for fan appreciation day. There were kids bicycle races on the track. The bike races were divided into three divisions. The first division was five and under, with training wheels and tricycles. A little girl named Taylor won the race. The second division was five through seven year olds, and Paris from Jefferson won. The third division was eight through twelve years old. Logan from Farmingdale won the event. All three took home trophies for their accomplishment.
Saturday was the group one division of racer’s. The feature events included a spotlighted division of Prostock. Also on the schedule were the Thunder 4 Mini’s, NAPA Super Street, and the New England Four Cylinder Prostock. (more…)
