RAIN AGAIN STALLS SPEEDWAY 95 RACING PROGRAM
For the second week in a row, rain forced cancellation of the Saturday night racing show at Speedway 95. Not to be outdone by mother nature, the Stock Enduro class, made up of cars pretty much off the street, ran qualifying races and a 20 lap feature in the rain before the remainder of the night’s racing was cancelled. Jordan Harnish of Veazie picked up his career first feature win after winning the regular season championship in the new for 2014 division when the Wednesday night racing program ended in August. Harnish took the lead from Joshua Gerry of Burnham of the 11th lap, and led to the checkers. Gerry finished second with Sean MacNevin of Hudson in third. Fred Richards of Hermon slipped and slid his way to a fourth place finish, with Sean Davis of Bangor finishing fifth.
