Theriault Outlasts Competition For PASS South Win At Southern National

PASS RacingLUCAMA, NC (June 23) – Austin Theriault survived several late race restarts on a hot and humid Sunday afternoon to win the rain-delayed Rumble In The Pines 150 at Southern National Motorsports Park. Theriault captured his second career PASS South Super Late Model win after the race was postponed Saturday night due to rain showers. Trevor Noles finished second followed by Jay Fogleman, Cole Timm and Kyle Grissom. Rounding out the top ten were John Batten, Tate Fogleman, Randy Gentry, Spencer Davis and Bobby Gower.

AMSOIL LEGENDS RETURN TO WISCASSET AND HAMMAR TAKES HOME THE WIN

The Wiscasset Speedway celebrated its Mainely Motorsports Fan Appreciation Day last Saturday. The night started off with fans of all ages meeting drivers on the racetrack. Additionally, there were tons of giveaways and bicycle races for the kids on the racetrack. There was plenty of racing action too, with its group two division of racing. Racing under the bright lights were Strictly Street, Mini Trucks, Mini Outlaws, Late Model Sportsman, and the flex race of the week was an Amsoil Nelcar Legends event.

6/22/13 Beech Ridge Results

Beech RidgeScarborough, ME – Saturday’s NASCAR Nite Pro Series 50-lap feature event was won by Lyman’s Alan Tardiff.

At the drop of the green, Keith McKinnon, of Saco, lead the field to the green, until Mike Maietta, Jr, of South Portland, captured the lead from him on lap two. Maietta, lead until a lap-seven caution bunched the field back together.

Speedway 95JOHN KALEL II TAKES SPEEDWAY 95 LATE MODEL FEATURE

For the second week in a row, John Kalel II of Orrington spent the majority of the Dysart’s Late Model feature locked in a side by side battle for the lead. Last week he ended up finishing fifth, but this week he fought off a persistent Ryan Deane of Winterport to post his second win of the season. Deane led the majority of the laps in the caution free 40 lap feature, although never by more than a foot or two, until Kalel, who was running the inside groove, managed to put his car ahead of Deane’s at the stripe and take the win. Deane finished second with last week’s winner Andy Saunders of Ellsworth finishing third. Fourth went to Corinna’s Paul White with Ryan Modery of Hermon in fifth.
