Three-in-a-Rowe for Mike at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway

Scarborough,Maine- Mike Rowe had to make a late race charge to win his third Pro Series race at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway on Saturday night, and in the process widened his point lead in the NASCAR division.  Keith McKinnon led the opening laps until Jay Sands took over at the front on lap 6.  Sands would go to work to open up a lead over the field in a race that would go caution free.

Brown best in wild Late Model race at Unity Raceway

Unity, Maine – Fred Brown of Winterport outran all troubles developing behind him in a wild Late Model feature, topping the Friday night racing card at Unity Raceway. Steve Rackliff of Starks and Bradley Bosworth of Clinton each won a pair of feature races, with other victories posted by Glenburn’s Steve Moulton, Unity’s Dustin Hubbard, Veazie’s Kyle Gallant, Skowhegan’s Justin Moore, Molly Feeney of Hope and Henry Boudreau of Winterport.

Moulton, McAlpine prevail in 50-lap Unity races

Unity, Maine — Burnham racers Frank Moulton and Carl McAlpine took different routes to victory lane, but both were on top of the official order of finish after double-point, 50-lap features, topping the Champions Appreciation Day racing card Sunday afternoon at Unity Raceway.
