Lee USA Speedway announces the addition of the 4 Cylinder Ironman division to the 2014 season. This division will participating in the Division V level for the NASCAR Whelen All American Racing Series. The sister division to the new division is the V6 Ironman series. The V6 Ironman series will continue as the Division IV representative from Lee USA.
The rules package for the new division is very similar to the V6 Ironman. The speedway tech department has worked to identify a set of rules that can allow the 4 cylinders to have a division within the NASCAR sanctioned events in the State of New Hampshire and possible recognition at the national level if found to be in the top 100 from the division across the United States.

Waterbury, VT –American Canadian Tour (ACT) teams look at Lee USA Speedway’s annual New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150 to kickstart their race season on Sunday, April 13, 2014. The optimism is well-founded. ACT Late Models can boast 10 different winners in 11 events held at Lee since 2003.
The list of winners is impressive, with a huge diversity of experience. Starting the list of winners are two Canadian teams, featuring four-time ACT US and Canadian Champion Patrick Laperle from St. Denis, QC and NASCAR Canadian Champion DJ Kennington, St. Thomas, ON in 2003 and 2004, respectively.

“This win is fantastic and unbelievable for our team,” beamed Eddie Mac after outdueling Ben Rhodes in the green-white-checker finish in NASCAR’s K&N Pro Series East’s Pittlite 125 on the famed half-mile at Bristol. “Our team has worked so hard without muchsuccess of late so to get this win on this track is huge for our owner,crew, and fans. Winning at Bristol is a dream come true for any driverand I am humbled to win on such an historic track. It is easily one ofthe biggest wins of my career and I thank a lot of the people involved in this race team in helping me get this win.”
The Grimm Construction/Multiple Sclerosis Chevy showed promise during practice and eventually in qualifying. The #71 ranked 16th and 18th in the two practices (16.363sec-117.265 mph—16.334sec.-117.265mph) only two tenths of a second behind the leader on the fast, high-banked oval known as “The World’s Fastest Half-Mile.” On the second of two qualifying laps, Eddie Mac posted a 16.249sec-118.087mph run to start 13th on the grid.

The Last Party Weekend at the Lee USA Speedway is just around the corner. The 28th Annual Oktoberfest Weekend presented by Haffner’s will commence October 11, 12, &13. Whether it’s gasoline, propane, or home heating oil, “for more than 80 years, Haffner’s has been dedicated to customer satisfaction with quality service and quality products at competitive prices” and has been a fervent Lee USA Speedway supporter for many years.
Over 300 racing cars from all over the northeast are expected to compete in 14 exciting feature events. All four regular NASCAR Whelen Weekly Racing Series divisions will be in action along with four major racing series events, and cars and competitors from many other New England tracks. Oktoberfest Weekend is traditionally Lee USA’s premier autumn classic and a trophy from Oktoberfest is one that every driver wants.
