LEE USA SPEEDWAY – Aug. 5th

Lee, NH – Lee USA Speedway played host to the annual David’s Race Cars and Components Hobby Stock Shootout 50-lapper on Friday night, with Groton, MA racer Geoff Rollins outrunning the biggest field of the season to collect the win.

Division sponsors David and Annette Joyce of David’s Race Cars and Components were on hand in the VIP tower celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary, and they headed trackside to present Rollins with the hardware in the post-race victory lane ceremony.

RACE RESULTS FOR LEE USA SPEEDWAY ON JULY 22, 2011

Lee, NH – The Benson Lumber and Hardware sponsored NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Small Block Supermodifieds took center stage at Lee USA Speedway Friday night, running twin 25-lap feature events with the best combined finish determining the overall winner for the night.

Second-generation racer Mike Ordway, Jr. claimed the win in the first segment, making his first visit to the winner’s circle this year. Wayne Helliwell, Jr. scored runner-up and finished the night out with a win the second race to score the Summer Shootout victory.

Lee, NH – The NEMA Midgets made their only 2011 appearance at Lee USA
Speedway on Friday night, with veteran Greg Stoehr taking down the feature
win. Stoehr spent the early part of his racing career campaigning a Late
Model at Lee, which made the win doubly sweet.

Stoehr took the lead on lap two, and was never seriously challenged on the
way to his first feature event win of the 2011 season. Jeremy Frankoski,
Jeff Abold, defending NEMA champ and Greg’s brother Russ Stoehr, and Anthony
Nocella wrapped up the top five spots.

Shaw and Tartro capture PASS Mod, Sportsman wins at Lee USA

NAPLES ME (7/14) The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Mods and Sportsman were on the PASS Bastille 200 card at Lee USA Speedway Tuesday night, and the faces carrying the checkers to victory lane were familiar.

Andy Shaw took a little longer to get to the front than usual, but the results were the same. Shaw took advantage of a restart on lap 30 of the 40 lap feature to drive around Rich Ferreira for his fifth win in five 2011 PASS Mod starts.

LEE, N.H. – Joey Doiron of Berwick, Maine, finished 17th in the PASS North Series Bastille 200 at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, N.H., on Tuesday, July 12. Doiron was running inside the Top-10 when the rear trailing arm on his No. 73 JBJ Machine Chevrolet broke, sending his car into the Turn 4 wall on Lap 143 and ending his night.
