With all of the offseason updates nearly complete, and with much anticipation, Wiscasset Raceway will finally open its 2008 season this Saturday afternoon with Opening Day presented by Lester Morse Auto Sales of Wiscasset. The finishing touches are being put in place for what track owner Doug White is counting on as a comeback season for "Maine's Center of Speed".

THOMPSON, Conn. (April 5, 2008) – James Civali captured his first career Coors Light Pole Saturday evening at Thompson International Speedway in qualifying for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season-opening Icebreaker.
