Eddie MacDonald and Go FAS Racing will again represent an all New England team in NASCAR’s Sprint Cup New Hampshire 301 on Sunday, July 19 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The Rowley, Mass. legendary driver will join forces with team owners Archie St. Hilaire from Old Orchard Beach, Maine and Frankie Stoddard from No. Haverhill, N.H. DraftDemons.com owned by Mike Alden from Beverly, Mass. will sponsor the #32 Ford Fusion for the second year in a row for the 301 lap event.
“This is a thrill to drive for Archie, Frankie, and Mike again this year,” said Eddie Mac, the winner of the inaugural PASS North race at NHMS last Sunday. “Go FAS Racing made my life-long dream come true to race in the Sprint Cup and now I get the opportunity to do it again. The excitement is building and this is incredible to be part of this. I love racing at Loudon and to do it a Cup car is awesome. St-Eustache, QC – Martin Goulet Jr. earned his first career Série ACT victory in style on Saturday, July 4, going pole-to-pole to win the St-Eustache 100 at Autodrome St-Eustache in Quebec.
The Mascouche, QC driver started on the pole and was never headed despite challenges from former Série ACT Champion Jean-François Déry, Jonathan Bouvrette, and point leader Dany Trépanier. Goulet eventually stretched out his winning margin in a race slowed just twice by caution. He also became the second driver in 2015 to earn the Bond Auto Parts New Champions Breakout Award.

On April 26 the Texas Roadhouse North East Mini Stock Tour presented by Twisted Tea opened its 2015 season. Nearing the end of the 50 lap feature there was a violent crash between Bruce Knowles and John Larsen reducing the 2014 NHMS Oval winning machine to a mangled mess of metal and wires. On July 5 the repaired Dodge Neon returned to the track as a surprise to NEMST officials with one mission in mind, defend the 2014 NHMS win. From the minute Justin Larsen unloaded the machine it was the fastest at the track setting the fast time of the day in qualifying of 36.010, a full seven tenths of a second quicker than the closest competitor.
For the 2nd Annual New Hampshire Motor Speedway Oval event 38 tour style mini-stocks rolled through the tunnel over the Independence Day weekend from as far away as North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. Thanks to numerous individuals and sponsors the purse was able to be increased to nearly $10,000 in cash and prizes including $30 for the leader of each lap.

Lee, NH – Lee USA Speedway celebrated the annual Independence Day holiday on Friday night July 3, with a full card of NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing action on the track followed by a gigantic fireworks display high in the sky above “New Hampshire‘s Center of Speed“.
Lee’s weekly NASCAR Whelen All-American Series regulars put on another excellent show for the fans, with last-lap passes the order of business for most of the night. Northfield, NH veteran Leslie Keyser got the job done in the 30-lap Ekeys4cars Supermodified main event, passing Kingston‘s Kyle Sawyer with the checkered flag in sight to score his first win of the season. Barre, VT – Kyle Pembroke scored the surprise of the 2015 Thunder Road weekly season with his first career Late Model victory in the CVMC ExpressCare Trophy Dash on Sunday, July 5.
The third-year Late Model competitor and St. Michael’s College student took the lead around the outside from veteran Shawn Fleury on lap 43 of the 50-lap event. Pembroke then pulled away in the final laps for his first win in a full-bodied stock car.

Eddie MacDonald wins again at NHMS in first-ever Super Late Model race at New England’s Superspeedway
Loudon, New Hampshire – Eddie MacDonald of Rowley, Massachusetts added another page to his impressive New Hampshire Motor Speedway resume, scoring an impressive victory in the AIM 60 Pro All Stars Series race, the first-ever Pro All Stars Series Super Late Model race at the “Magic Mile.”
It was the seventh victory on the 1.058-mile oval for MacDonald, a three-time winner in NASCAR K&N East Series competition at NHMS, to go along with three race victories in ACT Invitational Late Model competition.
