Ben Rowe Hoping To Salvage Season With Another North-South Shootout Win

309-PASS South Print LogoCHARLOTTE, NC (October 29) – Since the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models first began turning laps on the short tracks of New England and Canada in 2001, Ben Rowe has been there virtually from the beginning. Rowe, a 4-time PASS North Super Late Model Champion and 2-time winner of the prestigious Oxford 250, has become a modern day short track racing legend thanks to his exploits in PASS over the last 15 years. But, PASS Super Late Model racing’s all-time winningest driver, with nearly 40 checkered flags to his credit, has struggled in recent seasons. Last year, Rowe came South to Caraway Speedway for the North-South Shootout hoping to end the year on a strong note. And, following a late-race caution that eliminated several contenders for the win, Rowe did just that, taking his first win of the season and first in the North-South Shootout.

Caraway’s North-South Shootout Brings Out The Best In PASS South Racers

And, as the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Models enter its third season being a part of the North-South Shootout at Caraway Speedway, this has also proven to be the case as well.

PASS Releases 2015 Pro Late Model Schedule

309-PASS South Print LogoCHARLOTTE, NC (October 21) – Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials announced today a schedule of at least 12 PASS Pro Late Model events for the upcoming 2015 season. Each PASS Pro Late Model event in 2015 will be in conjunction with the PASS South Super Late Model division. Most events will be 50 laps in length and will continue under the same format that was utilized this season.

Christopher Bell Makes Impressive Debut With PASS South Win At Orange County

ATT00001ROUGEMONT, NC (October 18) – Making only his second start in an asphalt stock car, Oklahoma’s Christopher Bell dominated the second half of the Orange County 150 presented by CV Products Saturday night at Orange County Speedway for his first career Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Model win. The victory was the second of the 2014 PASS season for the Kyle Busch Motorsports team to go along with a win by Busch at Canada’s Autodrome Chaudiere in August.

Eddie MacDonald Wins 52nd Milk Bowl at Thunder Road

Jason Woodard and Tommy Smith Earn Track Championships

 

Barre, VT – The “Outlaw” Eddie MacDonald of Rowley, Massachusetts held off two-time and defending Thunder Road Track Champion Derrick O’Donnell to claim the victory in the 52nd running of the People’s United Bank Milk Bowl at Barre’s Thunder Road on Sunday, October 12. MacDonald put together a combined overall score of 14 points in the three-segment event to become the first winner from outside of Vermont since 2010.

MacDonald qualified with the third fastest time in yesterday’s Booth Bros./H.P. Hood Qualifying Time Trials. Outside polesitter and 2014 Serie ACT Champion Alex Labbe suffered mechanical issues at the start of the first segment and MacDonald then got around polesitter Joey Polewarczyk, Jr. to take the first segment win, just ahead of O’Donnell in second and 2009 Milk Bowl Champion John Donahue in third. Hunt for October: Championship to be Decided at World Series

GSPS2Walpole, NH-     The 2014 Granite State Pro Stock Series Champion will be crowned at the World Series at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park (TSMP) on October 18-19. 

 

Dillon Moltz holds a slim 16 point lead over veteran racer Larry Gelinas after 10 of 11 events, and a 17 point lead over Matt Frahm.  Moltz, driving the Brackett Mechanical/RB Performance machine, has quietly jumped into the lead, after finishing in the top 5 in his last four races, including a win at the NH Classic at Star Speedway.  “We are going into Thompson (Speedway Motorsports Park) with all guns loaded and not holding anything back,” Moltz exclaimed.  “We are going to go there doing what we’ve been doing all year.”
