White Mountain Motorsports Park Race Report
NORTH WOODSTOCK, N.H. – Lonnie Sommerville of Saint John, New Brunswick, finished fifth in the PASS North Series PASS 150 at White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, N.H., on Sunday, September 11. It was Sommerville’s third straight Top-5 finish and his eighth in 11 starts this season. Sommerville started 13th in his White Mountain debut and moved into the Top-5 and ran as high as third before the race was half over, but a loose condition over the final 100 laps of the event hindered his progress.

The Benjamin Motorsports team was racing at White Mountains Motorsports Park in North Woodstock NH this weekend and after being the fastest car once again in practice the team thought they had a good peace for the 150 lap feature.
In qualifying the team would start in the 6th position and finish 4th and that meant the 17 car would start in the 7th position for the feature.

The K&N Pro Series East finally returned to action after a month long hiatus plus an additional week when rained delayed the Labor Day event at Greenville Pickens Speedway to this past Saturday. “The Old House of Racing” hosted the Kevin Whitaker 140 and hopes were high in the Grimm Racing pits after a first practice run in seventh place for Eddie MacDonald, followed by an eleventh place run in the second practice. The veteran driver finished the race in the ninth position and moved up one spot to seventh in the
point’s race with two events remaining.

North Woodstock NH (9/11) Johnny Clark kicked in the jets with 50 laps to go in Sunday afternoons Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North 150 at White Mountain Motorsports Park, winning a side by side battle with DJ Shaw to take the lead on lap 131 and nip Shaw for his sixth PASS North win of 2011. Shaw led the majority of the 150 green flag laps but had to settle for second. PASS rookie Bryan Kruczek led his share of laps and raced home a strong third, with Alex Gingras and Lonnie Sommerville rounding out the top five.

STE-CROIX, QUE. – Brian Hoar of Williston, Vermont secured an unprecedented eighth ACT Late Model Tour championship by taking the win in the Can-Am 200 at Circuit Riverside in Ste-Croix, Que., on Sunday, September 11. The win came one night after a stellar performance and win in the Budweiser Showdown at Chaudiere 200 at Autodrome Chaudiere in Vallee-Jonction, Que.
Hoar led every lap of the All-Star race at Chaudiere en route to the win in the RPM Motorsports No. 37 GossCars.com Dodge. At Riverside, he finished second on the track and inherited the victory when the race winner failed post-race technical inspection.

Ste-Croix, QC – Seven-time ACT Champion Brian Hoar inherited his second win of the weekend in the ACT Late Model Tour and Série ACT Castrol combination Can-Am 200 at Circuit Riverside Speedway in Ste-Croix, QC on Sunday, September 11. Hoar finished second to apparent winner Alex Labbé. Labbé was disqualified for failing to comply with a protest by the #91QC team of his ACT sealed crate motor. Labbe was disqualified from the event with no points and no money and has been suspended from further ACT competition for failing to comply with the requested teardown of his motor.
