Ryan Blaney Dominates for First Career PASS South Win

Naples, ME 3/15/10– Fans who have followed the PASS South series for the last year and a half have all wondered and even asked him to his face, “Ryan when are you going to win your first race?” That question along with a statement on who might be the guy to beat for the 2010 PASS South series championship was answered in front of a stellar crowd at the Dillon Motor Speedway in Dillon, South Carolina as fifteen-year-old Ryan Blaney stole the show and earned the win, dominating the South Carolina Clash 150.

POLEWARCZYK READY FOR BUSY SEASON

HUDSON, N.H. — The old adage tells us that consistency wins championships, and Joey Polewarczyk Jr. hopes he can prove it true once again in 2010.

The 20-year-old stock car driver will have plenty of chances to find consistency on the track, committing to run the full ACT Late Model Tour season this year as well as a partial NASCAR K&N Pro Series East schedule. Polewarczyk, who owns four career ACT wins and finished a career-best fourth in the final 2009 standings, is looking forward to getting back behind the wheel.

“It’s going to be a busy summer, for sure,” Polewarczyk said. “I’m excited about it. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”

The thrty-sixth annual Town Fair Tire World of Wheels custom car show rolls into Boston’s Bayside Expo Center this weekend, March 12-14 with its now familiar and popular mix of custom cars, about 300 expected, and special attractions. 

The Town Fair Tire World of Wheels, holder of Bayside’s weekend attendance record, each year attracts local creators of custom vehicles of all types, representing millions of dollars worth of one-of-a-kind hot rods, customs, street rods, collectibles, race cars, antiques, restorations, tuners and more. The show also always offers spectators the chance to meet and get free autographs from celebrities, to see specialty vehicle exhibits and to be entertained by many other attractions for the whole family.

Delaney Kicks Off Pre-Season Testing Next Week 
Greenville Season Opener Just Weeks Away

The 2010 K&N Pro Series East season doesn’t take the green flag until Saturday, March 27th, but for Dustin Delaney, driver of the No. 39 Delaney Infrastructure Chevrolet, the season will kick off this Sunday when he heads south to kick off his pre-season testing. 

Delaney and his team, led by crew chief Jamie Aube, will test at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in South Carolina on March 17th and follow it up with a test at South Boston Speedway in Virginia on March 18th.

Ford Racing and Pro All Stars Series Announce 2010 Contingency Program

Dearborn, Michigan – Ford Racing has announced a posting of $8,250 in contingencies for the PASS North and Pass South Super Late Model race programs for the 2010 race season. The contingency is posted for use of any Ford Racing Sealed Racing Engine, engine block or cylinder heads. Race winners using Ford Racing engine components will earn $200 for a race win. Each of the PASS North and PASS South Super Late Model points champions will be eligible for a $1,000 contingency award as well. Ford Racing will also have a bonus posting for the PASS 400 Weekend event with  $500 to win, $250 for second and $100 for third.
