Rich Lowrey Scores Sixth Career Victory at Thunder Road

Barre, VT – Charlotte’s Rich Lowrey scored his sixth career feature Late Model win on NAPA Night at Thunder Road International Speedbowl. Lowrey started in the sixth position and took over the lead from Eric Chase after a lap 28 restart. The “Hurricane” Jamie Fisher raced through the field from his ninth position to battle Lowrey, but came up short. Jean-Paul Cyr came from fifteenth to third and unofficial retakes the lead in the championship point’s battle. Eric Chase came home fourth followed by Phil Scott who unofficially retains third place in the point standings. Brooks Clark finished sixth followed by Cris Michaud, John Donahue, Nick Sweet and Craig Bushey rounding out the top ten.

MacDONALD FINISHES TENTH AT ADIRONDACK

  Eddie MacDonald scored his first ever Camping World Series East pole
for the Edge Hotel 150 at Adirondack International Speedway with a time of
16.739 sec. (107.533mph). The Grimm Construction Chevy led the field with
101 laps but the handling went away late in the race causing MacDonald to
slide back to tenth.

Its PASS South Southern Sizzler time at Orange County Speedway

Naples, ME 8/4/09– With the month of August comes the hottest part of the summer for much of the North Carolina region. Kids will quickly begin preparing to go back to school as the summer months come to a close. But before that time approaches there will be a different “schooling” of sorts that will take place at the Orange County Speedway when the super late model cars and stars of the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South make their second and final stop of 2009 at the 3/8th mile Rougemont, NC facility on Saturday August 8th.for the “Southern Sizzler”.

PASS Mods/Sportsman race report – Unity Raceway – 08/02/09

McDaniel nabs first PASS Mod win; Tatro repeats in PASS Sportsman

Naples ME ( 8/3/2009) Scott McDaniel looked high and low for a way around race leader Gary Norris in Sundays’ 40 lap Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Mod feature at Unity (ME) Raceway, and when the white flag unfurled the young racer from Livermore Falls Maine found a way by Norris to capture his first PASS Mod series feature win. McDaniel looked like he had the car to beat from the get go and gave the fans plenty to watch as he tried the outside and inside lines on Norris. It was tight clean racing at its best for the full 40 laps as the pair battled for the win.
