TD BANK 250 WINNER ENTERS ACT BEECH RIDGE 150

      Waterbury, VT – Eddie MacDonald from Rowley, MA has entered the American Canadian Tour (ACT) championship at the Beech Ridge Motor Speedway (BRMS) this Saturday night. The winner of the TD Bank 250 at the Oxford Plains Speedway last Sunday will take his Rollie Lachance-led team to BRMS to compete in the ACT point-counting event.

BEECH RIDGE NEXT FOR AMERICAN CANADIAN TOUR

        Waterbury, VT – The American Canadian Tour (ACT) will return to Beech Ridge Motor Speedway with the most diverse group of racers of the 2009 championship campaign. ACT point leader Scott Payea holds a slim 23-point lead over Hudson, New Hampshire’s Joey Polewarczyk (Joey Pole). Five-time ACT Champion and former NASCAR Busch East star Brian Hoar sits in third and is looking for his first win in 2009. Hoar comes off a strong outing in last week’s TD Banknorth 250 at Oxford, ME. Hoar finished 4th after leading the “250” in the second half of the richest one-day Late Model stock car race in America.  ACT veterans Randy Potter from Groveton, New Hampshire and  Glen Luce from Turner, Maine round out the top five, separated by only 79 points just past the half-way mark in the 2009 season.

Fogleman Scores Second PASS Daniel Boone Classic Win

Naples, ME 7/20/09- For a second straight season Durham, North Carolina native Jay Fogleman took home the coon skin cap for winning the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Daniel Boone Classic 125 at Newport (TN) Speedway Saturday night. Fogleman, who never raced outside the top three all night long, survived several late race bumper tags by seventeen-year-old Jake Crum and a side by side battle with PASS South series points leader Ben Rowe to capture the win. Rounding out the top five was Preston Peltier and Heath Hindman who earned his best finish of the 2009 season.

Jean-Paul Cyr Wins Times Argus Mid-Season Championship

BARRE, VT – Seven-time American-Canadian Tour Champion Jean-Paul Cyr of Milton wins his first career Times Argus Mid-Season Championship with double points on the line. Cyr took the high side to get around pole sitter Doug Murphy late in the race to take the lead. Cyr would then break away from the field and finish uncontested for the win. Cyr gained the maximum points possible for the night by also winning his heat race earlier in the night.

Naples, ME 7/16/09- This weekend  thePro All Stars Series (PASS) South super late models s will make their one and only stop in the state of Tennessee as they tackle the ultra high banked Newport Speedway, just thirty miles north of the world famous vacation town of Gatlinburg.With twenty-five degree banking gracing the corners of the 4/10th mile oval there won’t be much time for vacationing once the green flag flies for the 125 lap event. Deemed to be one of the most physically demanding tracks on the tour, Newport Speedway presents new challenges unlike any other.
