St-Croix, QC – Milton, Vermont’s Brent Dragon dominates the Series ACT Castrol Riverside 100 stock car race at Riverside Speedway in St-Croix, QC. Dragon made the trek up north after finding out the Nutmeg State make-up scheduled at Waterford Speedbowl was cancelled. After taking the initial green in the 12th position, Dragon worked his way through the field to take the lead from Daniel Descoste on lap 23. Donald Theetge and Sylvain Lacombe both pressured Dragon late in the race but to no avail.

Barre, VT – Veteran driver Dennis Demers of Shelburne, VT takes home the win on Harvest Equipment Night’s stock car event at Thunder Road International Speedbowl. Demers took the green on the outside pole and battled another veteran, Robbie Crouch during the early stages of the 50 lap feature. Crouch fought off third place finisher Phil Scott for the runner-up position. Joey Becker and Trampas Demers rounded out the top five, while Brooks Clark, Jean-Paul Cyr, Grant Folsom, Matt White, and Eric Chase finished in the top ten.

Naples ME (June 12) The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) has three big days of racing on tap for this weekend with events in Maine, New Hampshire and Georgia four of the series five racing divisions will see action as the summer racing season gets underway in earnest.

Waterbury, VT – The American Canadian Tour (ACT) defending Champion Patrick Laperle from St Denis, Quebec has entered the CARQUEST Vermont Governor’s Cup 150 on June 25th at Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, VT. Laperle not only won his first ACT US title at the ¼ mile bullring in 2008, but he has a knack for winning the big shows at what many call the toughest quarter mile in America. Laperle is defending Champion of the 2008 Chittenden Milk Bowl, which he also won in 2006.

Naples, ME 6/15/09– So far, the month of June has been a quiet month for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South super late models with just one event marking the 2009 calendar; however, that one event on June 20th donning the name Dixie 150 at New Senoia Raceway located just south of Atlanta, Georgia may be the turning point for many this 2009 racing season. The word “new” in the speedway’s moniker couldn’t be more fitting as it will mark the first time in the series four year existence to visit the 3/8th mile high banked track.

Naples ME (June 14) Ben Rowe hung out in the top five for the majority of Saturday night’s Pro All Stars Series (PASS) 200 at Geary New Brunswick’s Speedway 660 and took the lead from Kirk Thibeau for good on lap 149 to claim his second PASS North super late model win of 2009.
