CONCORD, NC (May 12, 2008) – The Pro All Stars Series has been the home to many short track stars in the northern and southern world of Super Late Model racing. Most PASS winners have been veterans, such as Ben Rowe, Mike Rowe, Freddie Query, Dale Shaw, Sam Sessions and more. Recently an influx of newcomers have graced victory lane. Johnny Clark led the charge in the North a couple years ago; then came Cassius Clark, Ryan Lawler and Corey Williams. Now PASS is entering new territory with its youngest ever victor.

BARRE, VT – Late Model stock car driver John Donahue of Graniteville, VT scored a popular victory in the 50-lap Harvest Equipment Mother’s Day Special at Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl in Barre Sunday evening. Donahue, who started seventh in the 28-car field, was in the midst of a stellar battle for the lead with Trampas Demers before the caution flag flew for a wreck on lap 40. During the caution period, Demers’ car suffered a driveline failure, ending his chances for the night.

Actually, Derek Ramstrom proably looks at racing more like summer school.
Derek Ramstrom is a sophomore at St_Peter_Marian Central Catholic Junior-Senior High School in Worcester, Mass. Like a typical boy his age, he goes to school, likes to hang out with his friends, plays paintball, goes snowboarding, and loves riding his dirt bike. And like most of his friends he doesn't have his driver's license quite yet.
