Mike Rowe Keeps Son Ben at Bay to Score Victory

NAPLES, ME (July 23, 2007) – As the contenders around them fell to various problems, Mike Rowe and his son Ben rose to the top on Sunday afternoon in the IWK 250 Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North event at Riverside Speedway in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.  The race was delayed from Saturday night until Sunday afternoon due to rain.

Michaud, Lowrey, Fecteau Share Common Mid-Season Championship Goal

       BARRE, VT – Three Vermont stock car drivers will be representing their race teams, their home counties, and their impressive resumes at the 48th Times Argus Mid-Season Championships at Barre’s Thunder Road this Thursday.  Williamstown’s Cris Michaud, a three-time “King of the Road,” will carry the Central Vermont banner for Orange County, Rich Lowrey of Charlotte will represent the Northwest for Chittenden County, and former Thunder Road Late Model Champion Pete Fecteau of Morrisville will carry Lamoille County and Northern Vermont.

Rogelio Lopez Wins Music City 150 NASCAR Busch East Series Race

Nashville, Tenn. (July 22, 2007) – Rogelio Lopez, from Aquascalientes, Mexico, became the first Mexican-born driver to win a NASCAR Grand National Division, Busch East Series oval track race when he took the checkered flag in Sunday's Music City 150 at Nashville, Tennessee's Music City Motorplex. Lopez, 27, took the race lead from Jamie Hayes on a lap 109 restart and only gave the lead back for one lap before reassuming it for good, beating series point leader Joey Logano and 28 other drivers for his first win.
