Three-Time PASS Champ Won With Borrowed Car in 2005, Both Racers Love the Track

NAPLES, ME (May 15, 2007) – Two years ago when the PASS North visited White Mountain Motorsports Park (NH) for their July event there, Ben Rowe and Chris Kennison worked together to win the race. At the time, Kennison was a weekly Pro Stock (Super Late Model) competitor at Oxford Plains Speedway who had the night off from racing. Rowe was the then two-time PASS North champion who needed a car to wheel at the track after his primary ride was damaged in a wreck the race before.

Andy Santerre Motorsports Heads to Midwest for Double Event

CONCORD, NC (May 14, 2007) – In racing, the chase for a championship isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon. Nobody knows that better than four-time Busch North (now Busch East) Champion Andy Santerre. And that is exactly what he and the Andy Santerre Motorsports team have on their minds going into the Busch East double-header event, which will begin at Elko Speedway (MN) on Friday May 18th and continue at Iowa Speedway (IA) on Sunday May 20th. Both of which happen to be new tracks for the Busch East series.

LAQUERRE, SWEET SHINE IN CASELLA MOTHER?S DAY 100

Youth was unable to overcome experience in the Casella Waste Management Mother’s Day 100 at Barre’s Thunder Road International Speedbowl on Sunday afternoon. Hometown driver Nick Sweet, 21, led the first 58 laps from his outside pole starting position and looked to take his second NAPA Tiger Sportsman win of the season, but veteran Joey Laquerre of East Montpelier had other plans. Laquerre, 64, and a winner at Thunder Road in five different decades, moved underneath Sweet to take the lead on the 59th circuit and drove to the victory.
But it wasn’t that easy.

PLATTSBURGH, NY – Young stock car racer Ryan Nolin survived eight restarts and the challenges of
Milton, VT drivers Brent Dragon and Jean-Paul Cyr to score an upset first career victory in the 33rd annual
Furniture World of VT Spring Green 100 at Airborne Speedway on Saturday night. Nolin, of Georgia,VT,
became the third driver in as many events this season to score his first American-Canadian Tour (ACT) win.
After watching his father, Dan, win races and championships at the Plattsburgh, NY oval, Nolin
began his racing career in the track’s Street Stock division in 2002.
