BUTCHER WINS SEASON OPENER LUCAS OIL 150 AT PETTY INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY
(Moncton, NB – May 25, 2019) – Cole Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS) recorded his first Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour victory of 2019 by winning the Lucas Oil 150 on Saturday evening at Petty International Raceway. Ashton Tucker (Miramichi, NB) showed the field he can compete finishing second in his Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour feature debut. Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro, NS) had a mishap early in the race but rallied back to finish third. Cory Hall (Jolicure, NB) and Jarrett Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS) completed the top five.
NAPLES, ME (May 22) – A busy Memorial Day weekend for racing fans across the United States is on tap and the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models will again be a big part of it. New Englanders will get to see the Northeast’s best Super Late Models tackle the high banks of the newly revamped Thunder Road International Speedbowl on Sunday afternoon as part of the 57thAnnual Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic. And, a lot will be on the line for PASS racers. Sunday’s 150 lapper at Thunder Road will be part of the “Road To The Oxford 250” programs, rewarding the top finishers with guaranteed spots for the biggest Super Late Model race in the country.
Saturday May 25 the Granite State Pro Stock Series is headed to Monadnock Speedway in Winchester NH. The quarter mile, high banked bull ring will host two GSPSS races in 2019 including the JBH 150 in August and this week ends event, which is the third on a fourteen race schedule.
ACT Opens Summer Kickoff Series with a Return to Quebec
Waterbury, VT – Big money is on the line for American-Canadian Tour (ACT) competitors throughout the month of June – and it begins with a trip north that’s expected to be one of the biggest events of the year.
Round two for the Granite State Pro Stock Series took place at The Lee USA Speedway as the Lee NH oval held its first annual May Madness last weekend. The Saturday portion of the show saw time trials and heat races as the twenty teams in attendance locked themselves into the show.
PASS Super Late Models Ready To Roar Into Speedway 51 This Weekend
NAPLES, ME (May 15) – For the second straight weekend, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models will compete on a tight Granite State bullring. After a wild race at Star Speedway that saw home state favorite DJ Shaw come out on top, the tour moves to Groveton, NH’s Speedway 51 for the NAPA Spectacular PASS 151. While Shaw has gotten a little bit of breathing room in the chase for New England’s top short track title, fellow Center Conway, NH driver Gabe Brown is looking to make his mark in the series. Following a Super Late Model championship at Oxford Plains Speedway in 2018, Brown has moved up to PASS North competition and now finds himself sitting third in points. Brown says he is looking forward to another race in the Granite State this weekend.
