Waterbury, VT – They first-ever American-Canadian Tour (ACT) event at Virginia’s Richmond Raceway is inching closer on the calendar, but it has already produced at least one pleasant surprise. Southern New England will send one of the largest brigades of racers to the Commonwealth Classic 65 on Saturday, March 30. The region’s Late Model competitors are coming out in force to go racing at the historic track.
At least seven ACT Late Model drivers from either Massachusetts or Rhode Island will get an early start on their 2019 season. This includes a mix of veteran touring drivers, rising Late Model stars, and veteran weekly racers eager to showcase their talents under the southern spotlight.

NAPLES, ME (February 8) – Entry lists continue to grow as the PASS Commonwealth Classic at Richmond Raceway draws nearer to the Saturday, March 30 race date. With over a month to go before the green flag drops, there are nearly 30 entries for the two Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model events at Richmond featuring races for the Open motor cars and Crate motor cars. The inaugural PASS Commonwealth Classic at Richmond Raceway is also drawing entrants from across the motorsports spectrum for the Tour-Type Modifieds, American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Late Models, MASS Street Stocks, and Mini Stocks.
The entry list to date includes drivers from five U.S. state and the province of Quebec. A mix of ACT Late Model Tour stars, weekly Late Model standouts, Super Late Model regulars, and special-event favorites are ready for ACT’s inaugural trip to the state of Virginia.

Waterbury, VT – The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) has announced that it will sanction the Jean-Paul Cabana 125 at Quebec’s Circuit Riverside Speedway Ste-Croix on Sunday, June 2. The non-point, $5,000 (CAD)-to-win event will be the first time ACT has visited the 5/8-mile oval since 2015.
The event for ACT-type Late Models has been named in honor of Quebec racing legend Jean-Paul Cabana, whose storied career included 25 combined wins on the ACT Pro Stock Tour and NASCAR North Tour. It is being promoted by Martin Roy, who is also the promoter of Vallée-Jct., QC’s Autodrome Chaudiere.
