Stafford Springs CT (8/26) Ted Chrsitopher made a rare Pro All Stars Series appearance Sunday afternoon at Stafford (CT) Motor Speedway and when the checkers waved the man they call TC added yet another entry to a record book he already dominates at the half mile oval. Christopher led almost every lap to capture the first PASS feature at his home track.DJ Shaw came on strong as the laps wound down to finish second and Travis Benjamin pulled himself closer to Cassius Clark in the PASS North point battle with a third place run.
The win was Christopher’s second in a PASS super late model, his first coming at Thompson International Speedway in 2004. He’s the eighth driver to carry the PASS North super late model checkers in 2012.

Ted Christopher Wins PASS 125 At Stafford
Veteran’s Home Track Advantage Pays Off For Mulkern Racing
STAFFORD, Conn. – Ted Christopher added to his eye-popping resume at Stafford Motor Speedway, leading every lap from the outside pole to win the inaugural PASS North Series 125 at his home track on Sunday afternoon.
The victory was the track-record 119th of Christopher’s career at the half-mile Stafford Motor Speedway, where he has a grandstand section named after him. In addition to 98 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series wins at the track in Modified competition, Christopher also has victories in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and a half-dozen wins in weekly Pro Stock events there.

Stafford Motor Speedway Race Preview
Mulkern Racing will bring a two-car effort back to the Nutmeg State when the PASS North Series holds the inaugural PASS 125 at Stafford Motor Speedway in Stafford, Conn., on Sunday, August 26. Full-time driver Lonnie Sommerville of Saint John, New Brunswick, will pilot the No. 48 A.E. McKay Builders/Southern Maine Motors Chevrolet, while multi-time Stafford champion Ted Christopher of Plainville, Conn., will make his second start of the season in the No. 18 Southern Maine Motors/Community Pharmacies Chevrolet. Christopher previously joined the team at Thompson International Speedway in Connecticut back in July, while Sommerville heads into the series’ first-ever race at the half-mile in the heart of Modified country off a second-place finish last time out at White Mountain Motorsports Park.

PASS North travels to Stafford Motor Speedway Sunday
Three PASS North touring series tackle the famed speedway for the first time
The long awaited Pro All Stars Series appearance at Stafford Motor Speedway is just a few days away and competitors in all three PASS North touring series are scrambling to prepare for their first ever trip to the Connecticut oval.
The PASS stars and cars have appeared at many of the Northeast United States and Canada’s oval tracks during the series twelve year history, but only a few of the traveling pros have ever taken a lap around the historic speedway.

Charlotte, NC 8/20/12- The fans of the South Boston (VA) Speedway were treated to a barn burner of a race Saturday night as Kyle Grissom held off a hungry field of drivers to score his second win in a row and fourth of the season. Rookie Nate Caruth made things very interesting on the final lap before settling for second. The runner-up finish is a career best for the Iowa native driving for NASCAR driver Brad Keselowski. Jody Lavender in his first start of 2012 rounded out the podium with his third place run.

Charlotte, NC 8/14/12- This weekend marks the third and final time this season the PASS South super late model series makes their way to “America’s Hometown Track”; South Boston Speedway in South Boston, Virginia. The first trip in March was marred by rain after a Friday afternoon practice session, followed by a June 9th event that saw young Landon Cling, driving for Brad Keselowski Racing, pick up his first career super late model win. This weekend’s Southern Virginia 150 has all the potential to produce another first time series winner, but more importantly it could be one of the final times championship contenders race against one another with minimal outside influx as the season schedule hits the fall months of 2012.
