Tyler King top winner on Scott’s Recreation Oxford 250 weekend presented by Fastway Trailer Products opening night weekend at Oxford Plains
Oxford, Maine – Tyler King of Livermore nailed down his third 30-lap main event win of the season in the 30-lap Allen’s Coffee Flavored Brandy Street Stock feature topping the Friday night racing card kicking off Scott’s Recreation Oxford 250 Weekend presented by Fastway Trailer Products at Oxford Plains Speedway.
King, who counts Oxford 250 title sponsor Scott’s Recreation as a supporter, outran championship points leader Billy Childs, Jr. of Leeds to the checkered flag. Rick Spaulding of Lisbon led the first 20 lap but settled for a third-ptop[ lace finish in front of Bryce Mains, Bridgton and Greene’s Andrew Breton.

WALPOLE, N.H. – For the first time in the history of the Granite State Pro Stock Series, the drivers are heading for Oxford Plains Speedway on Oxford 250 weekend.
The GSPSS drivers will compete in a 100-lap feature on Saturday night, which is the night before the prestigious 44th annual Scott’s Recreation Oxford 250. The event will allow some of the drivers planning to run the 250 a chance to compete with the regulars of the GSPSS. The hope is that drivers who compete learn something heading for Sunday’s prestigious event.

Oxford, Maine – DJ Shaw of Center Conway, New Hampshire dominated the Super Late Model action Saturday night at Oxford Plains Speedway, winning the 50-lap headline Budweiser Championship Series race handily.
Shaw, the two-time and defending Pro All Stars Series Super Late Model Champion, quickly made his way up into contention from his mid-pack starting slot and easily maintained his advantage once in front of the field aboard his Precision JLM 60.

Garrett Hall holds off rookie Gabe Brown for Oxford Plains Speedway Super Late Model win
Oxford, Maine – Garrett Hall of Scarborough prevailed in a thrilling, 50-lap main event topping the stock car racing program Saturday night at Oxford Plains Speedway, becoming the 12th different driver to score a victory in the ultra-competitive Super Late Model division this season in Budweiser Championship Series competition.
Hall led just about the entire race, but it was no easy romp to victory lane, and the winner had to turn back several stout challenges from rookie Gabe Brown of Center Conway, New Hampshire to earn the top step on the podium. Brown, who will turn 15-years-old next month, got alongside Hall several times and finished the race in second position in just his third stock car race after posting an impressive record in kart racing.

Oxford, Maine – Alan Tardiff of Lyman extended his lead atop the Budweiser Championship Series Super Late Model standings, posting his second 50-lap victory of the season in the top class at Oxford Plains Speedway on Sunday.
Tardiff started 11th and worked quickly through the field to take the race lead away from Dixfield’s Scott Robbins. After taking control of the race, Tardiff maintained a healthy advantage over Manchester’s Reid Lanpher, who earned runner-up honors after starting the race from 15th position.

Oxford, Maine – Buckfield’s TJ Brackett nailed down his second Budweiser Championship Series Super Late Model win of the season in Saturday night’s 50-lap Super Late Model race at Oxford Plains Speedway.
Brackett, a two-time champion of the top class at OPS, battled hard for the victory against Auburn’s Travis Stearns, in Stearns best run since moving into the Super Late Model division after a very successful run in Late Models.
