Scarborough, Maine- After taking a two week break from competition, David Oliver returned in grand style on Saturday night by winning the 40 lap Pro Series feature race at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. The Scarborough Maine oval brought the NASCAR Whelan All American Series and the Valenti Modified Racing Series together for a show in front of a big crowd of fans. (more…)

ANDREW CROSBY SCORES LITTLE ENDURO WIN AT 95
Andrew Crosby of Hermon won the battle in the Little Enduros at Speedway 95 Wednesday night when he passed pole sitter Travis Beale of Hampden on lap 23 of the caution free 25 lap series race, and went on to post his first win of the season in the division. Darren Durrell of Newburgh also worked his way past Beale on lap 23 to finish second, with Beale finishing third. Ted Ryder of Carmel was fourth and Garret Hayman of Milford came in fifth. Beale was the overall winner of the three race series, and admitted in his post race interview that he was points racing to win the series title, which is why he didn’t challenge Crosby and Durrell when they passed him with two laps to go.

Brian Hoar: ACT Late Model Tour
Beech Ridge Motor Speedway Race Report
SCARBOROUGH, Maine – Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., finished sixth in the American Canadian Tour 150 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, July 30. Hoar started the feature on the outside pole after an impressive 9th-to-4th-place run in his heat race, and he cleared the polesitter on the first lap and went on to lead 43 laps. He would eventually be passed, and settle into the Top-5 for the rest of the race as his handling continued to go away. In the closing laps, Hoar battled with teammate Austin Theriault to give RPM Motorsports two cars in the Top-6 at the checkered flag.

Austin Theriault: ACT Late Model Tour
Beech Ridge Motor Speedway Race Report
SCARBOROUGH, Maine – Austin Theriault of Fort Kent, Maine, continued his strong mid-summer performance with a fifth-place finish in the American Canadian Tour 150 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, July 30. Theriault’s first ACT Late Model Tour Top-5 of the season comes one week after his impressive podium finish in the TD Bank Oxford 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, Maine – where he became the youngest Top-3 finisher in the 38-year history of the Oxford 250. The RPM Motorsports team will travel to New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Tuesday, August 2, to begin testing for the ACT All-Star Challenge, which will be held during IZOD IndyCar weekend at the track on August 12-14. Point leader Folsom outlasts Late Model rivals at Unity Raceway
Unity, Maine – Points leader David Folsom I of Skowhegan prevailed in a close finish, highlighting a thrilling 35-lap Late Model feature topping the stock car racing card last Saturday night at Unity Raceway.
Starting fourth, Folsom worked his way past his two closest championship rivals – Jeff Burgess of East Madison and Dylan Turner of Freedom, to take the race lead midway through the event. Battling a deflating right front tire, Folsom managed to hold off the hard-charging Will Collins of Waldoboro in the closing laps, denying Collins a second straight triumph by inches at the checkered flag.
