Connor Wenners, of Edgecomb, Maine is gearing up for another race season driving the #4 car in the NEFCP “4-Cylinder Pro’s Series, at Wiscasset Speedway.
Race season is almost here as Wiscasset Speedway drops the green flag on April 23rd though Connor has kept himself busy during the off season. “I played football in the fall. During the winter I like to snowboard, but this year hasn’t been the greatest!”

The North East Mini Stock Tour is pleased to announce a new official photographer for the 2016 racing season. The new photographer is currently covering events in Florida for Area Auto Racing News and has spent many season shooting across New England speedways as well as being the official photographer for Canaan Fair Speedway and Claremont Speedway.
Wally Morton of Extreme Action Photo will be taking the controls this year while documenting the exciting NEMST action all across the region with his great photography skills. “Wally is an asset to add to the NEMST group of officials and will give our teams access to the shots they need to show appreciation of current supporters while giving high action photos to bring new sponsors and fans into the series” NEMST Promoter Bob Guptill said. 17-year old Reid Lanpher of Manchester , Maine recently wrapped up the 2015 NASCAR Whalen All American Series Championship.
Lanpher also won the Pro Series Championship at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway.
The championships were both decided on the same night as Lanpher entered the final event with only a 10-point lead over Garret Hall of Scarborough, Maine. (more…)

JEFF TAYLOR WINS PASS NORTH FINALE AT OXFORD PLAINS SPEEDWAY
MIKE ROWE IS 2015 AIM RECYCLING USA PASS NORTH SUPER LATE MODEL CHAMPION
Oxford, Maine — Jeff Taylor of Farmington nailed down his first victory of the season in dominant fashion, outrunning all AIM Recycling USA PASS North Super Late Model rivals as the touring series closed out its’ 2015 championship season Sunday afternoon at Oxford Plains Speedway.
An eighth-place finish was plenty good enough for Maine Hall of Fame racer Mike Rowe to add yet another championship to his extensive short track racing resume, this one the AIM Recycling USA PASS North Super Late Model title.

JOHN CURTIS JR CAPTURES 150 LAP LATE MODEL WIN AT SPEEDWAY 95
John Curtis Jr. of Hermon won the biggest race of his career to date at Speedway 95 Sunday afternoon when he won the Veteran’s Remembrance 150 for Late Models. Curtis started 6 in the field of 16 that took the green flag, and took the lead from Andrew McLaughlin of Harrington on lap 95. Wayne Parritt Jr. of Steuben also got by McLaughlin late in the going and challenged Curtis for the lead following a lap 142 restart. Curtis was able to keep the lead by sticking to the bottom groove, relegating Parritt to a runner up finish. McLaughlin finished third, followed by Corinna’s Paul White in fourth and Milo’s Nick Jenkins in fifth. Brenton Parritt of Steuben, Josh St. Clair of Liberty, Deane Smart of Bradley, Donny Blanchard of Orrington and Chris Ryan of Newburgh rounded out the top 10.
