New England Short Track Showdown Set For July 1st

WALPOLE, N.H. – With just under one month remaining before the first annual New England Short Track Showdown at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Granite State Pro Stock Series drivers are starting to prepare themselves for action on the “Magic Mile.”
The one-mile, flat oval will require some different parts inside the cars and also will require a different setup under the hood in order to have a chance at winning. Although the inaugural Seekonk 100 is between now and the NHMS event on June 24, teams are already thinking ahead in order to try to get a slight advantage over the rest of the field.

Grassroots Event is Set for June 30th-July 1st at New Hampshire Motor SpeedwayWhen the New England Short Track Showdown at New Hampshire Motor Speedway was announced back in December, it was designed to be an event for the grassroots asphalt short track racer. The concept of the event is to put those dedicated competitors on the largest racing stage of New England to have a shot at glory.
So now, as a presenting sponsor for the race weekend is unveiled, it is only natural that a company that is dedicated to the needs of the short track racer will enjoy the naming rights to the event.

Teddy Hodgdon of Danbury, CT is driving the #28 legend car, in the MOAT Mnt Series at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The MOAT Mnt Legends are back at NHMS for another double header weekend at NHMS. “We might have to make some slight adjustments during the weekend, but with the baseline from our shop we should be quick right out of the gate.”
In the last road course race here at NHMS, Teddy was able to get a top 3 finish and take a spot on the podium in victory lane. “We got lucky at the start of the race and after the restart I was able to settle into 3rd. I was able to hold on to that position for the rest of the race.”
