NAPLES, ME (June 7) – After a two year absence, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models will return to New Hampshire’s White Mountain Motorsports Park this Saturday afternoon for the Foley Oil Company 150.
The race for the 2016 PASS North Super Late Model championship is heated, with seven drivers within 68 points of one another heading to White Mountain this weekend. Of those seven drivers, four are former PASS North champions, led by current points leader and Granite State native, DJ Shaw.
Another former series champion, Ben Rowe, leads all drivers with 8 PASS North wins at White Mountain, but has not gone to victory lane there since 2008. 6-time PASS North champion Johnny Clark has also won at White Mountain, taking the checkered flag there en route to two of his championships in 2010 and 2011.

Lee, NH -The Granite State Pro Stock series invaded Lee USA Speedway to join the NASCAR Whelen All American Series season weekly divisions on Friday night, with DJ Shaw of Center Conway taking down the GSPSS 100-lap win in impressive fashion.
Shaw and Jeremy Davis of Tamworth led the field to green for the GSPSS main, with some intense competition that saw the lead swapped several times along the 100-lap distance. Davis quickly moved past polesitter Shaw to gain the point, where he stayed past the 20-lap mark.
By lap 30, Hudson’s Derek Griffith, the series’ defending champ, had worked past to take command, but he was under quickly attack with Bryan Kruczek of Newmarket who pressured him right through the halfway mark. Davis and Shaw had settled into third and fourth at the crossed flags, saving their tires for a late-race run.

Lee, NH – The showers predicted by the weather forecast on Friday never came to Lee as drivers suited up for the Seacoast 100. DJ Shaw of Center Conway, NH started on the pole with Jeremy Davis of Tamworth, NH on the outside of the 21-car field. This week saw the addition of new competitors adding to the already tough competition in the Granite State Pro Stock Series.
Shaw took the lead early, however throughout the night he had competition from Hudson native Derek Griffith, Davis, and Bryan Kruczek of Newmarket, NH. The caution flag flew early in the evening on lap nine for Cory Casagrande of Stafford Springs, CT. Then shortly after, the pack checked up and Mike Parks of Walpole, NH ruined his newly replaced nose, creating an uphill battle for him the rest of the night.
Jacob Dore, winner at White Mountain Motorsports Park started ninth and started his charge for the front early on in the race. By lap 72 he was running with the top five. When on lap 78 Jeremy Davis saw the end of his night as his motor blew in turn two. This put Dore in position with the top four of Shaw, Griffith, and Kruczek. Unfortunately his luck ran out on lap 84 when Dore and Joe Squeglia of Derry, NH made contact in the turn one wall ending his night.

EAST MONTPELIER, Vt. – Emily Packard is no stranger to Devil’s Bowl Speedway having raced there weekly back in 2014 before deciding leave to focus on running the full American Canadian Tour in 2015. Back on July 11, 2014, Packard made history at the half mile oval setting two records; becoming the first female to win, and being the youngest driver to win a NASCAR Whelen All-American Series event in the Late Model division there.
She went on to win two more races that year, so to say that the East Montpelier driver is excited to be heading there this weekend would be an understatement. “Devil’s Bowl is like the bread to my butter,” said Emily. “For some reason, when I first went there it just clicked and I was instantly comfortable. We have had some great runs there, and I love the track, with its tight corners and long straightaways, it’s just a driver’s track. Getting my first late model win there was pretty special, and I am really looking forward to this weekend, it has been circled on the calendar since the schedule came out.”

Lee, NH – Lee USA Speedway opened up the 2016 weekly NASCAR Whelen All American Series season on Friday night, with 2014 Rookie of the Year Lance Barthelemy of Fremont taking down top honors in the 30-lap EKeys4cars Supermodified feature event.
Leslie Keyser of Northwood brought the field to green, and he quickly moved out to the lead as the field sorted out behind. 2014 champ Jake Stergios of Candia brought the race under caution after just two laps when he was sent into the backstretch wall, sliding to a stop in a shower of sparks in turn three.
While the Witkum Brothers team got Stergios back on track after a quick trip to the pits, Keyser once again took command when racing resumed, moving out to set to the pace with Barthelemy hot on his heels and 2015 Oktoberfest winner Mike Murphy of Groveland, MA right behind.
