Without any improvement in Saturday’s forecast, White Mountain Motorsports Park Officials have made the decision to cancel the weekly racing events originally scheduled for Saturday, June 20.
Officials waited until Saturday morning to make a decision, hoping the forecast would improve but current forecasts call for rain throughout the afternoon and evening, leaving no choice.
“We were hopeful to at least get our track championship divisions in today, but the forecast says otherwise,” said WMMP managing partner Cris Michaud. “We’ll regroup for Kid’s Night next Saturday and look forward to seeing everyone for fireworks to kick-off Independence Day week.”
Oxford Plains Speedway (OPS) and the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) have announced the full details for their upcoming Fan Appreciation Night scheduled for Saturday, June 20. This event promises to be a major celebration for fans, offering over 6,000 free general admission tickets distributed by more than 40 local sponsors.
The main attraction of the night will be a high-stakes competition: a 125-lap points-paying event for the Mid-Coast Excavation Super Late Models. The winner will take home $3,000, with $550 offered as a starting purse. This special race serves as an exciting qualifier for drivers aiming for a spot in the August 30 Oxford 250.
Beyond the Super Late Model action, the event will feature a full card of Oxford Championship Series action, including the remaining six weekly divisions. This makes the Fan Appreciation Night one of the biggest events anticipated for the 2026 season at OPS.
