19 Canines Adopted in 15 Days from N.H. Humane Society
LOUDON, N.H. (July 5, 2012) – There’s nothing like curling up on the couch to watch a NASCAR race with your best friend, especially when that best friend has four legs, a tail and eyes that make your heart melt. From June 15-30, New Hampshire Motor Speedway gave a pair of tickets to anyone adopting a dog from the New Hampshire Humane Society in Laconia. A total of 19 canines were adopted over the two-week span and now those adoptees will be given tickets to come out to the track to root on the stars of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series when they return to “The Magic Mile” for the LENOX Industrial Tools 301 on July 15.

The U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army will each be represented by local units, volunteering their time to assist with everything from security to ushering during the upcoming LENOX Industrial Tools 301 NASCAR weekend July 12-15. (more…)
Lakes Region’s Eric Grant Band to Perform NASCAR Weekend
LOUDON, N.H. (June 27, 2012) – Already packed to the brim with exclusive entertainment, “The Magic Mile” is making its annual WOKQ FanFest even bigger. New Hampshire Motor Speedway executive vice president and general manager Jerry Gappens announced this morning on WOKQ’s “The Morning Waking Crew” show that local country group, the Eric Grant Band, will perform on July 12.
Hailing from the Lakes Region in Laconia, N.H., Eric Grant Band recently appeared on TLC’s “On the Fly,” a reality TV show produced for Southwest Airlines. The show began filming from when the band took off from Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in Manchester, N.H., to Nashville, Tenn., where they recorded their first full-length CD “Country as It Gets,” set for release on Friday, June 29 at the Lakes Region Casino in nearby Belmont, N.H. Pre-Race Pit Pass for Both Sprint Cup Races Sold Out
LOUDON, N.H. (June 19, 2012) – Imagine having the opportunity to hang out in the Celtics locker room before they take the court at the TD Garden. Or how about a quick run around the bases at Fenway Park minutes before the first pitch. New Hampshire Motor Speedway has provided fans with this opportunity when it comes to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
The speedway increased its “pre-race pit pass” allowance by 300 percent for the LENOX Industrial Tools 301 on July 15 and the SYLVANIA 300 on Sept. 23, and fans didn’t waste any time for their opportunity to get up close and personal with their favorite drivers and teams. (more…)
