Brady R. Campbell from Stetson, Maine is getting ready for the 2015 race season in the Jr. Sportsman Series at Richmond Karting Speedway. “We still need to dig our trailer out of the snow and take the go kart out and put it all together.”
Though race season is only a month away, Bradley has kept busy in the off season. “Hunting, Ice Fishing, Snowmobiling and waiting for the race season.”

Yes, I am Moody, I want to go Racing!

Michael Moody, of West Gardiner ME. is the defending Champion in the Mini Cup Series at Richmond Karting Speedway (RKS). “It was awesome to win my 1st championship at RKS. My cousin Justin and friend Dan really worked hard on the car to get it where I could compete.”
So what has Michael been doing while waiting for the green flag, “I’ve been doing a lot of plowing and snowmobiling this off season.”
Well the race tracks here in Maine have been averaging at least 1 snow storm a week for the past 2 months, so will the snow be gone before opening day on April 26th, at Richmond Karting Speedway. “I honestly do not think the snow will be gone although I really hope it is.” (more…)
Kate Re – Excited to Start Racing Again!

11 year old Kate Re of Lovell, Maine is getting ready for the 2015 race season in the Junior Sportsman Division, at Richmond Karting Speedway. “I’m excited to start the racing season and am almost ready. The karts are mostly ready having participated in two motorsports shows this winter – Northeast Motorsports Expo and Racin’ Preview 2015. We still have some mechanical work to do but we are ready for the most part.”
Even in the off season, the Re race team has been gearing up for race new season. “We did a couple car shows in the off season, helping to support Richmond Karting Speedway. I’ve also done a lot of snowmobiling and we’ve been getting some new safety equipment for the upcoming season.” (more…)
Zack Dresser Racing into Victory Lane

Zack Dresser is racing the #3 car in the Mid Coast Mini Cup Series at Richmond Karting Speedway.
Since Zack has made the transition from karts to mini cups and he has had 6 wins already this season, “Yes, and I am hoping for a few more this season.”
So what made Zack decide to race mini-cups this season, “It was the next step up from Go-karting and I was ready for a change.” (more…)
